  • Thanks ESPN, makes me feel better

    Check out this analysis

    My two favorites:

"DIVISION FINISH: 3 There's a reason the Broncos brass was worried about Jay Cutler. What makes anyone think he's mature enough to turn a loser into a winner? He's better at turning a loser into a .500 team."

    ...and

"DIVISION FINISH: 2 The division is suddenly tougher to predict now that the Bears have a big-play quarterback. I'm not sure Jay Cutler will match Kyle Orton's win-loss record of 21-12, though."

Of course it makes you feel good. You need to read negative things about Cutler to keep sane from all the negative press the Broncos have gotten from pretty much everyone. However, reality will hit when the season starts and the Bears win game after game. ESPN hates the Bears. Most of those guys have no idea what the heck they are talking about.

He turned a loser into a .500 team because he played for a garbage team. Jay Cutler won't match Orton's 21-10. He will be better. It's the same stupid logic typical Cutler haters and Orton lovers like to say, forgetting that even Grossman has a good career record for a similar reason. An awful lot of help by the defense and ST.

Only thing Orton is good at is putting the game in the hands of the defense. Chicago spent more time on defense that anyone in the league because he couldn't keep the offense on the field and move the ball.

Have you seen the Bears schedule? Their first 3 games is brutal. They can go 0-3 right away with GB,Steelers and the SeaHawks. I said it first....0-3.

They should probably beat the Hawks, but I bet they lose those first two. And, I mean, of course Seatle could be them, I'm just not leaning toward it as hard as the other two.

No, plenty of Broncos fans here have the Bears starting 0-3. I wonder why.

Good ol Cap let me tell you something we were not a losing team when cutler was handed the ranks. Granted he started as a rookie but we were winning. I believe we were 7-4 before he took the reigns. We were just one year removed from the AFC Championship game. I remember when Cutler took the starting qb position Shanny said something like that was as far as we could go with Plummer. Heck atleast Plummer got us to the playoffs. Jay Cutler not so much we didn't even sniff the playoffs. I'm not solely blaming everything solely on Cutler but the games don't lie. Cutler had his chances to make the playoffs but he couldn't. Rivers outplayed him in every aspect of the game and cutler would lose games he shouldn't. Say KC and Oak... Yeah winning quarterbacks would not struggle with sub par teams like that and i know they are in the same division but no excuses for it. I don't recall the chargers losing to those two teams for a while. Face it man Cutler is "Ok" Until he prove otherwise. Until then don't bash the broncos and say we are garbage cause at the end of the day last year you guys were one game better than us and i don't recall you making the playoffs either.

I agree. Cutler isn't going to win anything.

For his rookie season, he was a rookie. Also, look at how your defense performed down the stretch compared to how cutler performed he performed well.

The only reason the Broncos were 8-8 and sniffed a playoff spot was because of the passing game being lead by Cutler. You name me ONE other thing that you could call a strength on the 2008 Broncos besides their passing game and then I will give you an ounce of legitimacy. Not the run game, if you are about to say that. You don't use your "strength" the 28th most times in the NFL if it was really a strength and you dont run through 8 RBs because it is a strength either.

In fact, the Broncos were pretty much.... HORRIBLE at everything else

Cutler going into Lambeau Field for his first game as a Bear is going to be fun to watch! He is going to be hounded all night long. I definitely think Green Bay will come away with the win.
