Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

If you had a choice to take one of the 3 oldest playing QB's right now who would u take and why?
1. Brett Favre
2. Kerry Collins
3. Kurt Warner
Me I'm taking Kurt even tho I have a weird man crush on Favre, Kurt just wins...and u dont have that many negatives with Kurt. Who are u taking and why?
Farve is going to give you drama and has tended to fade down the stretch in the past five years or so, I forget the ESPN article that displayed the statistic. It's also debatable how good he is in the playoffs. Still, he still has the ability to make his teammates better. Ryan Grant and Thomas Jones both had breakout seasons the last two years with Favre.
You can't argue with Warner's post-season success last year. He's definitely a winner, but he's a bit injury prone and consequently can be inconsistent. We can't forget all the talent he has around him in Arizona, either. Still, he hasn't exactly had a run game. Meanwhile, Kerry Collins has no receivers and is complimented with a great running game. Then again, last year Warner got to the Super Bowl with a lesser defense than Collins with comparable offensive help. He's definitely asked to do a little more than Collins as the game manager.
Therefore it comes down to Farve and Warner... I'll take the one I know can perform down the stretch when it counts: Warner.

Comparable offensive help? You mean like, the Titans had two elite-like RB's and the Cards had two Elite-like WR's?
Tennessee's line isn't nearly as good as Arizona's either.

Arizona's line used to be pretty horrendous. If it looks better it's in large part because of Kurt Warner's pocket presence and awareness... as well as Russ Grimm's coaching.
Either way, I called them comparable in that one had elite RB help and the other had elite WR help. Back when the only elite/skilled receiver we had was Marshall we wouldn't have called our WR help sufficient. But with Marshall and Royal it's elite. Meanwhile, one elite RB and supplemental backups can make an elite backfield. Tomlinson, Peterson, Larry Johnson... any of them in their prime constitute an elite game all on their own. Chris Johnson may not be quite at that level, but with Lendale to compliment, I'd say they're elite. I'm not saying it's an exact translation, but I am saying it's in the same ball park... enough for where the argument could be made for either. Hence, comparable.
Elite Run Help with Chris Johnson and Lendale White ~ Elite Pass Help with Larry Fitz and Anquan Boldin
#1 - I would take Warner. He is far above the other two. Warner is a true professional. He doesn't complain. He goes out there and he gets the job done. What is there not to like?
#2 - My second choice would be Kerry Collins. He's been around and his experience is invaluable to a team. Further, he has shown good decision making skills inside the pocket with the Titans. If you have the line, he'll do wonders.
