  • Brady Quinn-did his trade value go down after the Ravens game

I read all the hype on Bronco country about this guy Brady Quinn during the offseason. I must say i was never impressed with him, and thank goodness the front office did not listen to certain Bronco fans about a possible trade for Quinn. The guy is just not it, gifting the ball to the Ravens D, and finally being benched for Derek Anderson, who himself threw 3 INT. Cleveland Browns are outright awlfull.

Honestly I don't know enough about his actual situation, but I tend to think a lack of coaching foresight has also contributed. The whole QB controversy until the week before the season etc.

I didnt see the game though I know he got benched
The beatings will continue until morale improves....

lol the guy still gets to make commercials when he was a backup. Hilarious! I guess he'd better go back into making undeserved commercials lol.

I don't think it does. I watched the game....somehow. I thought Quinn was struggling to make reads against the Baltimore defense, then they put Anderson in. That's when I realized that the Browns scheme and receivers are a combination of horrible. Quinn has been taking care of the ball, and doing what he can with what he has. Anderson get's in there, and throws the ball all over the field. Put Quinn in a good offense, and let him get comfortable. The Browns screwed the pooch, when they hired Mangini and got rid of Winslow. They might as well trade Quinn now, because they just set he and the franchise back a couple years.

Eh, I'm sure there might be teams dumb enough to throw a 2nd for him.

Thankfully, we aren't going to be one of those teams. :orton:

            Now he's done.
Fire Rick Dennison - This Signature will stay until the worst playcaller in the NFL is gone.

I've said it before and I'll say it again:

              Rick Mirer > Brady Quinn

That's all anyone needs to know about Quinn.

In Derek Anderson's defense, you can't expect him to not suck when he's forced to play from behind with a crappy team against a great defense, especially when he has to throw the ball every down. Give him a fair shot at the beginning of a game at least.

Brady Quinn never had any value. The guy is pure garbage. Always has been and always will be.

Yeah, I've been hearing that. The problem is, Cleveland's defense couldn't stop anything. Anderson would have been flinging it the whole game anyway. He played pretty good two years ago, and he's not a bad athlete in the pocket. He just throws way too many bad passes. He'd be a good fantasy quarterback though. Cleveland should have traded him when they had the chance.
