That was some tricked out car though. It had bucket seats that made it really hard to see over the steering column unless you were 6'5 (which I'm not). The extra gear shifter made it look like the car could be driven as an automatic, but it was definitely a standard transmission. I'm pretty sure it had racing mods done to it, because to go from 1st to second the RPMs shot way up as soon as you touch the pedal. The only thing I can think that other pedal was for might have been a different clutch. I'm not car savvy, so this is just a guess.
