  • Gary Kubiak

The old Shanny West Coast is alive and well in Houston. Kubiak's offense is starting to look like it did in Denver. Schaub's stats for the last two games:

    Yds: 763
    Pct: 70%
    TD's: 6

I don't know about you guys, but I like to see Kubiak and Shanny's kid have success. I hope Gary doesn't get fired in the offseason. Thoughts?

I think they will go 8-8, likely finish second in the division, almost by default. TN and Jacksonville are horrilble, and Indy is playing lights-out right now.

I do hope Kubes gets that defense fixed. They did decent against the run this past weekend, but they are not consistant.

Its kind of cool, actually, watching a Houston game. Its like seeing the old Broncos in action.

As much as I liked them, I like the new Broncos better. The old Broncos are a great part of Broncos history...but the new Broncos are shiny and bad-ass.

I've been rooting for Kubes, too. I hope he has enough success in Houston to stay there a while and make something out of the Texans. He needs to get better on D to be more consistent. Who's the DC in Houston?

Frank Bush. He was our LB's coach, when we won the SB's. This is his first time around as a DC though. He's a good position and situational coach, and I think he can develop into a good DC, if they give him a little more to work with.

When Schaub is healthy the should be good. They have possibly the best WR in the game and an excellent pass catching TE. They just need all of those high draft picks in their front seven to play up to their potential.

Andre Johnson may be the only WR I've ever seen to catch a pass, and turn a LB into a helicopter before carrying two db's into the endzone.

I sure do miss Gary Kubiak as are offensive coordinator here in Denver. We

had a great offense under him for alot of years. Maybe someday he will come

back here as a offensive coordinator I doubt it though...
