Wow, Cutler also leads the league in fumbles!

    Seven through six games.

10 Ints + 7 fumbles = 17. Cutler's due to make $17M this year. Coincidence? Maybe he thinks he gets paid by the turnover.

Oh, just to remind: Kyle Orton: 1 Int (Hail Mary), 1 fumble (recovered)

Also interesting: Josh McD's team has fewer passing attempts and (way) more rushing attempts than Lovie's Bears.
    Respect...it's earned, not given.

Bears went straight for the luxury player when they should have used those picks to get a lineman that will actually block.

To be fair, he has only lost one fumble thus far.

But 7 fumbles is still ridiculous. Jay Cutler's ball security makes JaMarcus Russell's look acceptable.
      Anyone seen Jake Plummer?

A lot of those are due to some epic failures on the part of the center.

Not a Jay apologist, but we gotta be fair. Watch any game, when Jay's lined up in the shotgun, the snap is down by his knees- simply not acceptable. It should be up near his chest.

Those snaps were catchable. They could have been better, but there's no excuse for dropping them.

These crazy Bear fans are still making excuses. Cutler doesn't have anyone to throw to. Hester had 101 yard game, that's not shabby. The problem Bear fans don't want to admit is Cutler just throws to manyInt's. He really forces the ball when he is pressured. Bear fans also don't take in to account that cutler played with one of his wide recievers at Vanderbilt. How long do you need to be comfotable with your wide outs? I think we should ask Orton. All I know is we got a pretty good QB.:orton: WILL LEAD US INTO THE PLAYOFFS

Oh, how long will people continue to make excuses for Cutler?

Until he has his first winning season since high school.

                Orton is the man.

It took a while for most of the Broncos fans to come around. I assume it will take 2 or 3 seasons of this to completely turn the CBMB against Cutler. Still you will have one or two who think he is great. There are still some here who think if Cutler was on this team we'd be an unstoppable force on offense.

Not surprising. If you look at his stats with Denver he had allot of fumbles too. He is almost in the same league as Culpeper the worst fumbler I have ever seen. He seems to recover most of them tho, maybe his athletic ability?

bringing up jay cutler and fumbles brings back a very harsh memory that I had sometime early in the season.

What's up with that? I haven't had the dubious pleasure of watching much Bears this year (I don't live in Chicago), but is Kreutz suddenly going spastic? Orton was in the gun 178 snaps last year and I don't recall him fumbling once, but again, I didn't see every game. But I do know he fumbled only 6 times in 15 starts. Cutler's fumbling 3x that rate, and he's better at scrambling.
