Seriously though, I'm really starting to get pissed about Cro, and I'm one of his biggest supporters. Every team has a player like him, unfortunately he plays a vital part in our defense so I have to root for the punk.

We could save $$$ and sign players else where (Vj, Merriman, Sproles, McNeil).

Yupp, I like Cro too, but its hard to defend him right now (thats if its true of course). He's been stepping up his game. Then this. What a shame.

NFL Star Suspected in Assault w/ Deadly Weapon

TMZ has learned San Diego Chargers star Antonio Cromartie is being investigated for assault with a deadly weapon over a bruising incident in a San Diego bar last night.

According to law enforcement sources, Cromartie -- a Pro-Bowl defensive back -- was out celebrating the Chargers win at a local San Diego bar when somebody threw a champagne bottle which hit a bystander in the head.

Witnesses claim there was champagne being sprayed back and forth between Cromartie's party and other bar patrons -- until the mood changed and someone threw a bottle.

We're told the bystander had a cut on his head -- but no ambulance was called to the scene.

Law enforcement sources tell us 25-year-old Cromartie was identified as the bottle-thrower by at least one person -- but there are conflicting stories from other witnesses.

Cromartie was essential in the Chargers' 32-3 win over the Denver Broncos yesterday, raking in a key interception in the second half.

UPDATE: Cromartie's agent, Gary Wichard, seems to be throwing Antonio's teammates under the bus, telling TMZ, "This is absolutely not a story. Antonio didn't throw the bottle. There were actually three other players involved. Antonio is at a complex working out. Again, this is not a story."

UPDATE #2: After we posted Wichard's statement, his story changed. Here is what he's telling us now: "he was there with 2 other players ... no one was involved in the fight."

I mean why wouldn't I be. In 10 games he has given up 1 TD, has 3 ints with a 64 QB rating against him.

I was gonna post something on this but I didn't know if it were true or not. It's kind of dumb but I guess if you look at it from a city perspective, they have better weather and a lot more places 2 party at, which I am cool with after a win....but don't do it to where u hit someone with a bottle and end up on TMZ I know Brandon Marshall used to be in a lot of thise nonsense, it's kind of a down story for Bolt fans after they killed us, whatever tho

So far, Antonio Cromartie, Shaun Phillips, Stephen Cooper, Darren Sproles and Travis Johnson were are at the bar, with Charger fans celebrating the victory.

TMZ claims there was a brawl or "bar fight", even though every one including the victim disagrees there was any fight, rather everyone was celebrating the Chargers victory.

The only thing being disputed right now is wether Antonio Cromartie threw a champagne bottle intentionally which caused this injury:

They never disappoint.
I'm not going to lie, they're a good team no matter how much I despise them. But why on earth would you create distractions like that when your team is on a roll?

Last season stupid Charger fans were all over Brandon Marshall for his legal problems and insisted all the Chargers were perfect angels. They better not even think of posting anything in the future about Broncos-players' legal problems--especially after this bar incident with multiple Chargers and also since their mohawked, "cant sack anyone", dirty-playing, idiot Merriman is being sued.
