The Boys were ONE loss away from getting Mike. You can bet your life if they would have lost to Philly, and lost the division, and not made the playoffs, Shanny WOULD have been the next Coach at Dallas next season. He would have replaced Wade for the second time, and now, it is only delaying the inevitable by 1 more season.

Instead Washington stole him away, they will only get stronger, will Dallas stays the same or gets weaker.

I wonder this offseason about other coaches suach as Cowher and Gruden, will they stay unemployed for another year or not?

Before the season even started I called that one. Shanahan was never going to the Cowboys. Never.

Even had Wade been fired, he wouldn't have gone to the Cowboys.

He and Snyder are old pals and they each took multiple trips to see each other during the season.

FAIL! The Cowboys already had a playoff spot clinched before they played Philly for the last game of the season. All that was left was seeding and the division crown.

Shanny wasn't going to be the Cowboys next Head Coach for 1 reason, Jerry Jones! Shanny wants power and Jerry probably wasn't going to allow that. Jerry is the GM and he makes the final decision, not the Coach!
