  • Jaworski breaks down all Cutler's picks

Not a bad article. Calls out Cutler for throwing the ball badly at times and looks at each play to see who he was throwing to, what the protection was like, what the situation was and trying to figure out how that pick happened.

Martz could be the best thing to ever happen to Cutler, or it could be that Cutler has more ego than sense. If he's smart, Jay will shut up, listen, learn and get better.

I love how so many people want to excuse Cutler's terrible 2009 performance by saying "it's the o-line" or "it's the WR's".

The few games I watched him play, I saw him throw terrible passes, often RIGHT TO a defender. I saw quite a few bad INT's dropped (although all QB's do get a few INT's dropped every year) that were just aweful passes.

I do agree with Jaws that Martz is probably the best thing to happen to Cutler since Shanahan. We'll see if can learn and move foward.

Interesting read. What I get from it is that Cutler isn't as polished as people would like to think he is. He tends to have sloppy mechanics and relies solely on the strength of his arm to make plays. And I'm not sure whether it's stupidity or arrogance, but a good few of his picks seem to be him forcing the ball to make a play when he really should be thinking about the risk/reward. He doesn't have B-Marsh there to bail him out of throwing into double-coverage and it showed last season. Chicago either need to find a legit #1 or get someone to house-train JC because it's a shame to see raw potential go to waste due to what I interpret as personality issues.

War and Peace is too long of a read, that article has got to be at least twice that long. I am a busy man, I don't have that kind of time.

Jaworski says the same thing I've been saying all along. He feels pressure when there is none and has bad to awful mechanics. I think Martz can reprogram him.

Cliff notes: Cutler threw a lot of interceptions, and most of them were his fault.

Well, I do think that's a good match. They both love flinging the ball all over the field, particularly downfield, and both treat the running game as a red headed step child

If anyone can do it, it's Martz. We'll see if he does, I'll be watching a few Bears games this coming season.

The same reason everyone else posted on here, Jay Cutler is still a topic to discuss about.

Or until another QB comes around and leads Denver to a record better then 8-8 and into the playoffs.

Yep. As they say when hes good hes good.

But when hes bad he makes you want to light your eyeballs on fire and take a flying leap off a tall building into a woodchipper.

I stated once before, that with cutler it seems he was way better when he utilized the play action. That allowed him to make a quick read and throw. I don't think his best suite is dropping straight back and reading the whole field.

We shall see if martz can bring him along into what he's going to try and do with the O. I have a feeling it's going to be all or nothing for the bears fans this year again.

They're going to see good games and then they're going to get the worst.
