The #12 pick is quite controversial. Even if we hit a bullseye with Ryan Clady, he only has 2 seasons under his belt while Shawne Merriman had 3 consecutive seasons with 10+ sacks. Right now Clady has a higher status but if we consider the body of work it's a tough call. Jonathan Vilma also is a strong candidate with his 674 tackles in 6 seaons and a Super Bowl ring. And I would never consider Knowshon Moreno for an honorable mention. Makes no sense. Only 1 season with average stats. What about Haloti Ngata?sigpic

I don't get how this list works...
Why is Adrian Peterson so close to L.T.?
Why is Drew Brees dead last?
Why is Eli Manning first and not Ben Roethlisburger?
Why is Troy Polumalu behind Darrel Revis?
Seems they're using hype and the past couple of years to decide something that's based on longevity.Rivers is deciding to play bad, just to see how it feels.

Hopefully the Broncos can continue some of the good kharma with the #11 pick that some of the other teams did with players such as Freeney, Roethlisberger, Ware, and Willis.sigpic

Makes sense, thanks for the heads up. Read too fast I guess, what threw me off right away was that Eli Manning was number 1, I figured some Giants fan wrote this article so I preceded to close it immediately.
The way they put it okay, but it would have been more interesting if they made it controversial by simply ranking the top 25 draft pickups in the last 10 years.Rivers is deciding to play bad, just to see how it feels.

Damn look at the number 12 spot.
Clady and Ngata are clearly the best out of those, but you've also got Merriman and Vilma.
I wouldn't put Knowshon there cause its too early to say.
