Falcons have a revamped defense and could challenge, but I'm not a Matt Ryan guy.

I think the division title will come down to the last game.

God, it's hard to pick against the champ. History says that a backward slide for one or both of the Championship teams from last year is not uncommon... but I can't let that affect my pick here.

I've never been a huge Matt Ryan guy either... but he has the potential to be really good...

I think the gap is just too big between the Saints and the rest of the division for anyone to overcome it.

Ryan will be good. But Brees is just deadly in this offense.

Atlanta - For the last upteen years there's been a different winner in the South every year. They were close in a lot of games last year, and i look for them to put it togeather this year.

NO had a great year but will finish a close second. The team can't reproduce the solid team production, and lack of injuries. Brees will still dominate, but the drive and focus won't be the same this year in NO.

Car - good games, but it's going to be a rough year

TB - Needs offensive help, but should have an improved defense.

Panthers 10-6 (it's easy to lose if delhomme is your starting QB. they did very well with moore as QB)
Falcons 9-7 or 10-6

Easy one, Saints are close to the same team and Atlanta didn't improve enough.

Saints lost Mike Bell who was fantastic last year for them, have a whole new dimension to the team. Panthers have gotten rid of that lazy-waste of space Peppers and retained a solid lineup. I just think the Saints will suffer a slight hangover and I'm not fully convinced in Ryan's ability to consistently win games if Turner doesn't show up, whilst Moore/Clausen has DeAngelo Williams and Johnathan Stewart. Scary stuff.

helped them they might be more improved team this year than last year.
