I think this might be the biggest slam dunk of all eight divisions. The 49ers have a superior team with an intense head coach and a relatively easy schedule, but it's more about what's going on around the division that seems to make them the obvious choice. Arizona's whole identity transformed this offseason, and they had some serious losses through free agency and retirement. I don't trust Matt Leinart with that offense, and losing Boldin doesn't help.
Look for Arizona to contend for a wildcard spot, but this has the looks of a down year for the NFC West champs.HEAR ME ROAR!

Thanks to Freyaka for the great sig!

49ERS, most likely. With "crazy" Singletary as coach, I don't see other way for this division. The Niners' only problem will be at QB and how Alex Smith will go through the season. But they have a good defense, so I hope they get back on top where they belong.
Seahawks will be 2nd on the division. I just don't believe Cardinals can be as competitive as they were the past two seasons.sigpic

The Rams are my second favorite, so I hate this division.
The 49ers, I despise, but they are obvious to win. They have a dangerous tight end in Davis and a very good running game with Gore. Their defense is tough, and hammers opponents. QB might be a problem.
Seattle will be number 2, probably tied with Arizona. Carroll is greedy with the acquistions, and they are adding. I don't really know enough about Seattle, but they are a decent team to get better.
Arizona is like a fallen Angel in the division. Matt Leinart is rough, and he will have to prove ALOT. The Defense is adequate and I like the running game enough. However, Kurt Warner was a giant among them, and a great leader whose presence will obviously be missed. They still have Larry Fitzgerald, but Boldin's loss will hurt. Leinart has to get the ball to his own Wrs.
St. Louis, I love them, but they suck. Bradford may not be the solution, and he is almost made of glass. Steve Jackson is a monster though, and it depends how healthy he is. The offensive line should be better, they are learning. The Defense wasn't that bad to me, but they are more experienced then they were. I respect Laurinaitis, and he is a good leader. Secondary is good with Atogwe, but they are still a doormat.sigpic

49ers - the only complete team in the division that will finish above .500
Arizona - HUGE pieces gone, with not much to replace them, luckly the other two teams are so bad.
St L - On the right track, but still really thin in the production department.
Seattle - Hurts to say because i like them, but the team was pretty weak last year, and carrol hasn't exactly cleaned house. They are going to be picking VERY early next year.
