  • Dominique Foxworth is out for the YEAR

Baltimore Ravens starting cornerback Dominique Foxworth torn his anterior cruciate ligament in Thursday's practice and will miss the coming season.

Hoo boy. The hits just keep on rollin' for the Ravens.

I feel bad for Foxworth, really. That sucks for him.
    HEAR ME ROAR!

    Nooo!

I really like this guy. It's unfortunate that he's not having things go his way. He's a great person.

He's one of the few players that gets involved on the team's web site too.

He's a stand-up guy and I wish him the very best.

That's a shame, really. I hate it when somebody gets a season ending injury. They really don't deserve it.

Ouch, I feel really terrible for him right now, he's a big reason I think the Ravens D is still a top 5 D.

Pretty much lock it up for the Bengals now!

Ahh that sucks. I loved him here in Denver and wish we hadn't ever let him go. I feel bad for him

            Absolutely great person, marginal player....

That secondary was suspect last year, and now foxworth is gone, and Reed may be too, combine that with Ray becoming OLD, and it could be a struggle on that side of the ball for them this year.......

              Sad news.

Foxy is a guy I've always rooted for. I wished he would've stayed here in Denver, but Shanahan embarrassed us by getting rid of a starting cornerback for a 7th round draft pick.

I hope Foxy recovers quickly and comes back stronger. He's a class-act

Yeah I also feel bad for him. He's a class act and even though due to the politics of the business he's no longer a Bronco, I still and wish him well in his recovery.

Foxworth seems to be one of the most political players in the league, with an active participation in the NFLPA. The Ravens secondary is in serious trouble, just imagine what the Bengals receiving corp will be able to do. Also, To make things worse, the Ravens ignored their secondary in the draft, even choosing to take two tight ends. Let it burn.

He's a good guy. I remember when he made a thread in these forums. He sounded very intelligent and I hope he comes back stronger then before.

Umm lol, I think Ray and Ed Reed have more of a say than Foxy but he was turning into the potential we saw when we drafted him, sad day

WOW!!! Definately not even close to being the reason why they're a top 5 defense. But, that's your opinion. I try to be one of the more positive people on these boards, but your statement almost converted me over to the darkside.

I thought he was a GREATTT guy too, and I'm really sad to see this happen....but I was NEVER impressed with Foxy and I definitly don't think he's any type of good starter...would never want him starting on my team anywhere, not even nickel...he's not very talented at all...idk whatttttttt you guys are talking about

No Way! He's one of the worse DBs I've ever seen, play the game.

He's one of the big reasons why we lost the AFCC game in '05.

He was terrible. And now with a torn ACL, that will just make him even worse.
