i read a article somewhere that he hurt earlier in training camp and that he got it taped up so he might have aggravated his ankle.

But from my perspective, if you cause controversy (like he has), be prepared for these types of fan reactions. It's not terribly mean or anything....just typical stuff that arises from an incident (or more) that he initiated.

If Drew Brees suffered the same injury, very few people would be inclined to make a joke of it.
We'd call it the madden curse.

Brees suffering the same injury is very likely this season. Let's just wait and see

Kinda feel sorry for him, but then again, he's not on our team. I Just hope he recovers well and have a good season, hopefully not better than DT's.

Dallas should just be thankful he didn't get injured like Foxworth did. Last thing they'd want is Dez out for the whole season with a torn ACL. So it could've been a heck of a lot worse.

True but Orton didn't have to run around like a WR does. Maybe there different come back times for different positions? Just throwin' that out there.

MRI says high ankle sprain, 6-8 weeks. Scary, big price for a "nothing-out-of-the-ordinary bump. He will need to follow his rehab instructions precisely.
