I already think the Niners will win the West, this just makes their chances even better. If he can stay healthy then this is a good pick up for them.

I gave them a chance after they lost Coffee. Actually, they were the first that came to mind, then I googled the RB depth chart and saw Coffee there and took them off the list. The next day, Coffee finds Jesus. Niners should win the division.

ive heard reports of him maybe going to the rams. that would have been stupid. Rams are going to win like 3 games this year.

You know whats sad is your right (about the Rams) and poor Stephen Jackson just shows up year in and out and is an absolute work horse for that squad.


to Jackson, the League needs more guys like him.

Brian Westbrook A 49er

NFL Network just posted that Westbrook signed a 1 year contract with San Francisco.

Not a big loss to us, given I doubt we were really in the hunt anymore, especially since acquiring White and Fargas. Brian is a little long in the tooth, and is a bit of an injury risk, and we have enough seasoned vets to show the way. It's time to move forward with a nice blend of youth and experience in the RB position. We have both.

im a little worried about the guy. Just because he's cleared to play doesnt make it safe...he was cleared to play after his 1st concussion, only to get knocked out again when he got back. He would've been nice for the few weeks that moreno, buck, and white are out..but when all 3 are back we'll have our fill of RB's.

We need maybe one more temporary guy like hall and ball (think there's a joke in there somewhere). Or keep doing what they did last week and not run the ball much and give those 2 guys all the work..but that doesnt really help our o-line practice run blocking

We played the Eagles last year...Westbrook was 9/32. Of course, the rest of the RB's for the Eagles torched our "defense" last season...
