You do realize the Fins can cancel his contract completely after this season.
He agreed to a pretty team friendly contract.
I like we traded Marshall but for completely different and more complicated reasons that I stated when we traded him.
Think both McD and Orton leaned too much on Marshall to make plays. The system McD is trying to run works much better when one of 4-5 different players can be the main focus of the passing attack. Going to the same guy week after week makes the offense harder to run for the coach and QB.
McD will become a better playcaller without Marshall.
Orton will become a better QB without Marshall
The Broncos will become a harder team to defend without Marshall
The only question I had when I made this statement was who were we going to bring in to become those 4-5 guys...well McD and Co have done a great job of filling this team with guys who can be that dude

Seen allot of work on the screen pass in the preseason so do not be surprised if maybe a RB leads us in receptions a game or two
Branson was looking good at times...the TE is not that big in the offense but do not be surprised if even that option opens up
