    21. yards per carry, 1 fumble... Now he only needs to learn Moreno's dance moves.
    85 yards vs 76 yards.

I don't know where you come from, but I think 85 yards outdoes 76 yards.

Yes, just like 25 carries outdoes 17 carries

      Harrison avg = 3.4

      Hillis avg = 4.5

        Much ado about nothing.

The difference between 17 and 25 carries is so few that one quarter is enough to make them "dead even". For Harrison, the back who ran for 286 last year against the Chiefs that is not enough carries. He should be the primary back instead of a journeyman from Denver. A journeyman who fumbles the ball as many times as he scores a touchdown.

Journeyman Hillis has 9 TDs against 3 fumbles, and only 2 were lost

I agree that Harrison played very well last season (even though you said he is too small to be the main guy) and deserves to be the starter, but I don't know if his lost fumble, after a preseason scarred by more fumbles, will affect his status.

Really? That's a lot of touchdowns to score in only two games. Oh, wait a second. You are talking about Hillis' time with the Broncos as if it affects his time with the Browns. Sorry, he was on a different team entirely. So, for one thing, ignore everything he has done with Denver and focus just on the Browns. He has 2 Touchdowns and 2 Fumbles. I don't care how many touchdowns or how "great" (and I use quotations on purpose because he wasn't great)

Harrison is the better back and deserves more carries. Hillis is a nobody and will always be a nobody. This will be his only year in Cleveland because he simply cannot hold onto the ball. He has fumbled twice in 17 carries. That is a fumble every 8.5 carries. Whereas, Harrison (who has fumbled once) has fumbled once every 25 carries. So, would you rather have a back fumble the ball once every 8.5 carries or once every 25 carries. Personally, I'd rather have a back who doesn't fumble. But, if I had to choose between the two. I would say the better back is the one who fumbles once every 25 carries.

LOL it's an endless war. Who will conquer Jerusalem?

I will check back after week 17 to see if Journeyman Nobody Hillis fumbled the ball once every 8.5 carries!

You know what is really sad too. That is about how many carries Hillis gets a game. Whereas Harrison gets about 12 carries a game.

Anybody who knows anything about football knows those are not enough carries - period. Harrison should be getting twice as many carries as he is now.

Not after that stinker of a game against the Chiefs, he shouldn't. Harrison looked like the worst player on the field yesterday, and that is saying a lot considering that the Browns and the Chiefs were playing.

Look for about a 50/50 split on carries between Harrison and Hillis beginning next week. Hillis has played his way into the rotation.

Ha, you are trying to be a comedian.

The Browns are not as "bad" as you claim they are. Did you also know that Phil Dawson, usually an extremely reliant kicker has missed two field goals this season? One in each game that the Browns have lose. The Browns lost 17-14 to the Bucs (Dawson missed a field goal that game). If he had made it, tied game. He also missed a kick against the Chiefs which the Browns lost 16-14.

The offense hasn't been getting the job done. That's it. Simple as that. The defense has been doing fine allowing only 1 Touchdown by the Bucs (I ignore the 3 yard drive that resulted in a touchdown, I don't care how good your defense is you aren't going to stop a team fresh off an interception return to your own 3 yard line). The Chiefs only scores came on an interception return and 3 field goals.

Two touchdowns in two games is pretty solid.....

Production like that, not saying he will keep it up, is 16 tds in the season, which is probowl level.

Two fumbles isn't good, but how many points were scored off of those fumbles? ( I don't actually know).

His stats aren't what you want from a starter in the NFL by any means, and he shouldn't be one either. But those are pretty good stats for a situational player.

Harrison is the one you should be worries about, since he is listed as the starter and only averaging 3.4 yards per carry. Just keep feeding him the ball, maybe it will work out....
