  • Donovan McNabb, Kevin Kolb, Michael Vick

Do you think the fact that the Eagles released McNabb, only to start Kolb, and then Kolb getting replaced by Vick, is a slap in the face to Donovan? If I were replaced after 10 years, and then my replacement was replaced by someone who was second string to me, I would be a little upset.

Kolb got a concussion. When he passes the baseline test, he will return as starter.

McNabb wore out his welcome with inconsistent play and a horrible track record at the end of close games. I'm tired of hearing about how he was "disrespected" by Eagles fans. He just wasn't that good.

Kolb is not even half the QB McNabb is. We saw how McNabb won that game against the Broncos last season with great plays. Kolb can't do that. McNabb was putting his team in the playoffs all the time. The Eagles screwed up big time.

        This

Kolb is just plain average. Vick will beat him out quickly. Unless the coaches like to handicap their team.

McNabb is such a great QB, that he throws a 2yd pass in the SB when he's down by multiple scores to the Pats with under 3 minutes to go at his own 15....ya McNabb is great...

dude is a BEAST in the regular season NO QUESTIONS....but when the big game's on the line he's busy ridin' the pine! (hahaha me myself n Irene, couldn't resist!)

I'm a big fan of McNabb and think it's a HUGE mistake they traded him, especially to a division rival.. McNabb led teams with WR's such as Pinkston, Thrash, Mitchell deep into the playoffs..

They FINALLY get McNabb some better weapons like Jackson, Maclin, Avant, Celek, and then they trade him, figures..

Kolb didn't impress at all on Sunday.. Too early to tell if he's a bust or not, but i would of kept McNabb, that's just me..

As to Vick, he's playing for another contract..

The brakes went out on the train when Kolb suffered that concussion. Impact is imminent. The Eagles brain trust had to calculate this possibility, and crapped their pants when it became a reality. The Skins have mad defense, and they are bound to score more points with Shany's offense. The Eagles wound up keeping Vick on the roster, knowing fully well that the second he outperformed Kolb, the fans would turn on Kolb. Kolb basically has to play flawless football when he returns, and I don't see that happening.

It's been confirmed that Vick is the starter. Do I have a valid point now?

If i was Mcnabb i would simply be laughing about their QB situation and waiting for when they meet in the regular season.

Wow. This I can't agree with.

It was the open guy who was a power player and he had to get two yards. He was also the only open receiver.

Your caliber of insight with the Eagles is on par with your caliber of insight for the Broncos.

Yes, Andy Reid said it had nothing to do with his injury and that Vick was "playing out of his mind right now".
