Any other defense does this to a QB and flags, ejections, fines, and suspensions will come crashing down from all angles.

Could you imagine if somebody did that to Favre or Manning? Good God, they'd be ejected from the league! If somebody can get roughing the passer for shoving a QB (like a Rams player did Gradowski if I remember right) that should have been a flag and a fine for sure. -
I don't see anything wrong with it. It was a tackle, that happened to take him off his feet. There was no helmet-to-helmet, and until he's in a throwing motion, he's considered a runner.Comment

Considering the bogus call that got put on Ray Lewis when he was blocked into Palmer and given a tripping penalty.... Yes, I am very surprised that roughing the passer was not called.Comment
