Absolutely. I was pulling for Simms last year when he came in. (And pulling my hair out while he was in!)

I'd rather see the Broncos win the division than Orton win the passing crown. But both would be even better!

ok that makes me feel better

the question i ask the tebonites is if he was cut would you still be a broncos fan..

but thats not the scope of this thread.

I think the bears line is horrible, and cutler isn't helping them out neither.

im not his biggest fan but he is definitely not that bad of a qb... he just needs certain elements to succeed, as any qb does.

an oline helps... so do receivers who know what the hell they are doing.

I know a lot of the experts were saying that Martz and Cutler were going to be the perfect fit. As a fan, I didn't think so, because they have a similar mentality. Throw the ball down the field and take the consequences, good or bad.

I didn't think that was the way cutler needed to go in his development. Where turner was too conservative (maybe the wrong word, cause 26 ints...) and Martz is too liberal with what he wants to do.

You can look at it in different ways that suits the opinion you believe in ...

But in truth the Bears OL gave up a total 10 sacks and that is awful thats not debatable

The Bears OL was getting dominated by a four man straight up pass rush that wasnt trying to disguise the blitz. It was pretty clear the Giants controlleded the LOS and by doing so was able to drop 6,7 players into pass coverage doing a good job of blanketing the Bears recievers and maybe causing the QB to hold the ball a second longer then what he should despite getting beat to death every time he dropped back

One could imagine the Bears OL after getting totally throttled and embrassed on a national stage stepped it up in the second half and that the Bears did make adjustments in the play calling to benefit not only a 2nd string QB but a 3rd string QB as well ...I would say they went vanilla in what they was trying to do after all the game ended 17-3 1 TD and you right back in it at any point of the ball game and thats not so bad considering how bad the Bears OL was getting spanked

Obviously, you have not watched many Bears games.

Go re-watch the Giants game. Watch the line actually MISS the blocks. Guys are standing right in front of them, and they miss.

Try as much as you can to spin it into your anti-Cutler agenda, but you really cannot blame the QB if the O-Line actually misses on seven blocks. Also watch as his head gets slammed into the ground near the end of the second half.

You know what that was? That is right class, a concussion. Now watch the beginning of the second half when Collins is out there as the QB. Watch them get no yards, no points and few first downs. Watch as the defense does NOT have to blitz to rush the passer.

Why do they not have to blitz? Because the O-Line cannot block the basic four man front.

Also watch as they hand the ball off to the RB.....now, and here is the important thing, when you actually hand the ball off to the RB......it is out of the QBs hand, meaning they cannot sack the QB. But they sure can tackle the RB for losses.

Also watch the back-up QB get knocked out of the game. Then watch the back up to the back up get hurt as well.

Now, watch the Panthers game today. They passed for about 20 yards....the whole game. The QB was sacked, hits, rushed just like other games. Oh, and he threw for four INTs.

Clearly it is all Cutler's fault.

Yet, remarkably, the Bears win games while you-know-who cannot. At the end of the year both the Bears and the Broncos will be about .500. The Bears know who their QB is.

Oh, and if you actually listened to the radio you would have hear Boers SPECIFICALLY say that he would not re-do the trade because or Kyle Orton, but he would have re-done the trade to get both first round draft picks back.

Next time, actually quote the person you are trying to quote.
