Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Just goes to show that head coaches in this league don't last long without winning consistently. Childress took them to the NFC Champsionship Game just last year.
There are only 32 head coaching jobs out there and a lot more qualified candidates. Only a few head coaches in this league have shown that they have the coaching nous to win Super Bowls. The rest need to watch their back anytime their team loses more games than it wins.
The thing is, is that his coaching didn't lead them to the NFC championship.
It was the great play of the offense and defense, this season both sides of the ball have fell of the map, is it his coaching maybe, maybe not.
But I think the sole reason for this firing was because how they lost, who they lost too, and the fact that he is not liked by the entire team.

I thought Chilly lost the locker room when he was letting Brett do what ever he wanted to. Like not showing up to camp, but he wanted to give AP grieve because his city wanted to have a parade or something for him, which would've caused AP to miss practice. But because they were winning, everybody was happy go lucky.
But lets not forget that he traded away a 4th rd pick for Sage Rosenfels, and never gave him a chance to start. On top of that, he gives up a 3rd rd pick for a 3 week experiment with Moss, and he gave Favre an extra $4 mill this year to come back. So now they're 2-7 with a $20 million dollar QB. Man i wish it was the Vikes on the Hard Knocks show, and not the Jets.
I agree it took them long enough, IMO Brett Favre would have played better if the OL was better and if he was not hurt.
But for some reason he wont sit out, a good coach would tell him," Hey I'm gonna sit you, because well your hurt". It's common sense don't play hurt!
Brad Childress lost his locker room, no one on the team liked him or wanted him there, I bet the whole team is gonna have a block party because he is gone.
As a coach you never throw a player under the bus, and he did that with Brett.
No matter how he played, thats rule number 1 in how to deal with players.
DON'T THROW THEM UNDER THE BUS!!!! Also never waive a player with out telling the front office or even asking if it was ok. Thats one of the flaws of giving a head coach personnel power.
Brett Favre is laughing internally. Can't believe he outlasted Chilly with his horrible play. Hopefully Frazier will bench his sorry a$$ so he goes out with a whimper.
Like Adam Schefter said, Brett Favre can now drive Brad Childress to the airport. They had a great run last season but Childress did not know when to end the Favre Watch. And then he made that mess with the Randy Moss trade. It looks like he was not getting along with the players, had a heated argument with Percy Harvin. There was speculation that he would be gone after the 7th loss.
The Minnesota Vikings have relieved Brad Childress of his coaching duties and promoted defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier to interim coach for the rest of the season, the team said.
