Not surprising, certainly deserved, one of the few coaches more incompetent than McD, heck, now that he's gone, im having a hard time thinking of someone who is worse. Chan Gailey would be the go-to under normal circumstances but the Bills game was awesome yesterday, Marvin Lewis isn't as bad as the useless organization in Cincy makes him out to be, hmm...

Also, i'm thinking that the Vikings will win atleast 4 of their last 6 games and keep Frazier going into next year.

It wasnt Chilly who got them to the NFCC game. It was Favre and Allen. Now both players have fallen off. Their D line is trash as of right now, and they have always been known for their D line. They couldnt stop Chris Ivory from destroying them (yeah thats right, who??). They suck right now and it comes down to coaching and player motivation (again coaching).

Exactly. Everyone forgets they were talking about firing him before he went and got Favre. Kind of surprised they are going to stick with Favre for now.

Man the Packers are great at getting other team's coaches fired. Dallas looses big to them Phillips is caned. Vikings loose big yesterday to the pack and childress is shown the door. This is the right move now they need to bench Favre and see if any of their QB currently on their roster are worth moving forward with or if they need to plan on drafting a QB in the draft.

How great for packers fans if it's their team that causes the vikings to finally bench Favre a little justice for them.

Just goes to show that head coaches in this league don't last long without winning consistently. Childress took them to the NFC Champsionship Game just last year.

There are only 32 head coaching jobs out there and a lot more qualified candidates. Only a few head coaches in this league have shown that they have the coaching nous to win Super Bowls. The rest need to watch their back anytime their team loses more games than it wins.

Apparently NFC championship Game last year is not even good enough as coach.

Seriously tho people who expect to win EVERY year are smoking too much fairy tale dust. The only teams who win every year have elite franchise QBs.

In the last 10 years Min struggled to get 10 wins with all that "talent"

Even the Balt Ravens who have probably the next best thing to a Franchise QB in Ray Lewis have not been back to the Super after the 2000 season and have gone 4-5 in the playoffs. Without a franchise QB they have only earned a playoff bye once since going to Balt.

If a team does not have a great QB it is not going to be able to overcome the injuries, player turnover and coach turnover that every team goes through on a year to year basis.

Still that QB has to come to training camp.

I don't think it's all about wins and loses. EVERYTHING and EVERYBODY is exploding in Vikings land.
