  • People need to quick trading with NE

    This is rediculous

Updated: January 2, 2011 (Draft Order Change)
    * – subject to change

    1st Round – #17 (OAK – Richard Seymour)
    1st Round – #32*
    2nd Round – #33 (CAR – 2010 3rd Round)
    2nd Round – #64*
    3rd Round – #74 (MIN – Randy Moss)
    3rd Round – #96*
    4th Round
    5th Round
6th Round (NO – David Thomas)

    Picks traded away:

4th Round (SEA – Deion Branch) (via DEN (Maroney) if higher than NE pick)
6th Round (DEN – Laurence Maroney)
7th Round (ATL – Quinn Ojinnaka)
Conditional Draft Pick – Round Unknown (KC – Jarrad Page)
    2 1st round picks
2 2nd round picks (including getting the first 2nd round pick for a 3rd round pick!)
    2 3rd round picks
use to have 2 4th rounders but gave up best one for Deon Branch?!?!

NE already has a good young team but man with these picks these guys may just build another great dynasty!

I know alot of people think all of these trades in the Mock Drafts are not realistic, but i've watch New England the last 2 years in the draft, and they really make "unrealistic" "REALISTIC". It is a work of art watching them move around in the draft.

I love what they do over there.

Must be great to be a Patriot fan..

They will have a top D soon.

Mhm, I agree. The other 31 NFL teams should band together and not trade with them.

I'm still angry that AJ Smith gave them some draft picks a couple years ago.

And OAK, a 1st rounder for Seymour? Really? He's a good player, but he's nearing retirement!

HOLY CRAP! Problem is everyone is trying to chase their success model. From trading for their players, hiring away their coaches and front office guys.

It's SCARY this was supposed to be a rebuilding year for NE, and they could win the SB, and have all those picks to load up for next year.

Wouldn't shock me if they package some picks to move up for Peterson. McCourty and Peterson would make the best young CB duo in the NFL.

That is exactly what i hope we do this year. Trade back, and just stockpile picks, and take the BPA at each pick.

I don't think Bellichick likes trading up that much. Even if he did, i don't think he would trade all the way from 17 (or whatever else the pats get) to 2nd overall.

I wouldn't mind if we traded back a couple spots (to like number 6 or something) and drafted Marcell Dareus

The Pats look solid as it is. They could use a tall WR though. And a pass rusher.
