I would agree with you if it had been live but they were filming the episode, not performing live so in that case I can understand them having fun, either way Theismann is losing his mind

If you've ever been on a set, there are discussions and inside jokes that happen before the cameras roll. If ever one of those jokes happens to make it live, all it takes is for one person to snicker and it becomes hysteria. The harder you try to contain yourself, the harder it becomes to actually do it.

It's kind of a strange thing, but I work in video and audio and I see it all the time. I've even been blamed for it on a few occasions.

I totally get this and find it extremely funny.

Agree with you, I suppose from the outside looking in and waiting for a slip up it was abit anti-climatic. Freudian slip perhaps?
