Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Glad he is going back to his real name -- the name he ACTUALLY identifies himself with. It's good to see that he no longer feels the need for that silly gimmick name.
He should change his name to Chad Pleasepayattentiontomeallthetime.......
I was gonna name my son Seven, but we decided on Sharpe Ingle Elway...

Once a good receiver..got a big head and turned into an idiot. His career diminishing he has no choice but to try to resurrect a once good career. My guess is its a ploy to show everyone he's going back to his grass roots....yea right..just like all that boxing training was going to make him a better receiver....saw how that worked out. He and TO should keep the show...thats the only thing they are good for now.
Its probably because Palmer has told the Bungles that in order to keep him they have to trade the knuckleheads from the team. So CJ and TO will be gone if Palmer stays. He knows he is gonna lose the number 85 when he gets traded.
I have to be honest fellows, having just recently moved to Denver from Cincy I must admit I'm a big fan of Chad. Yes, the guy showboats a bit too much at times and definitely pouts when things don't go his way, but he is one hell of a hard worker, and a lot of his antics are just him having fun.
Watching him during the 2005 season when the Bengals won the division was a good time.
The guy isn't perfect, but who is...well maybe Tim Tebow haha.
I like Johnson. He's a good receiver, he has a friendly personality, and even when he talks smack it's playful. I love how he constantly runs his mouth to Champ and then gets his ass handed to him too - but Johnson acknowledges it every time as well.
The whole name change thing is strange and I'm not entertained by it, but whatever. He's trying to market himself (see Dennis Rodman for details).
He's a good guy though, and he is a very good receiver. I have nothing against the guy. He's never in the news for smacking his wife, getting in fights, or shooting himself in the leg.
The name change stuff is weird and kind of fruity if you ask me, but whatever. I like Johnson fine though, both as a player and as a person.
