The Colts or Miami are not throwing games, they are just bad.

The problem with the Colts is they are build to throw the ball. Some teams when losing the starting QB could fall back on the running game but the OL is built to pass block and they don't have any RB's who will scare anyone, Addai is OK.

The D has played decently but it's not good enough to win games alone.

Seattle and the Colts are bad but both are capable of winning 4 games this season as they have a good homefield.

I think Tebow will win us too many to be in the Luck sweepstakes and we are not THAT bad.

It just looks like Miami will pick # 1 and I bet if you asked them now they would take it (fans).

STL are 0-5 but are good enough to win some games, espeically in that division

Your starting Qb was what, 0 for 5 with 2 picks the other night? The Bengals could easily struggle all year and fall into that #1 pick spot - especially in that Division with the Ravens, Steelers, and the up & coming Browns.

I've just got to bump this. I can't help it. Still thinking the Dolphins aren't a candidate for Luck? How about them Bills? How about them Bengals? Hell, even Seattle has managed a win or two.

Yeah, hate to say it (well, no I don't) but I think the Bengals are the odds-on favorites to pick #1 overall

    Rookie QB
    Rookie #1 WR
Benson running for 3.2 YPC (while he's not in prison)
young guys all around on offense, no leader or chemistry
lost a stud CB on defense
Didn't make any big splashes in FA

Your argument that the Bengals could be the worst team in the league this year is just misinformed. I'm a fan, but I'm also a realist. Will the Bengals have a losing season? I'd be pleasantly shocked if they didn't. But that being said, there are far more obvious problems with other teams around the league. I'd put money on the Bengals not picking first, and I'm not much of a gambler when it comes to sports.

Dude, Carolina could have the No. 1 pick again next year, judging from what I saw tonight. They're just plain terrible. I don't see them winning any games in their division this year, and if they sneak a win or two outside, it'll be a shock and a half.

I've even recently spoken to a Browns fan who seems to think Cincinnati will be third in the division behind his team this year. Take that for what you will.
Misinformed? It's an opinion just like yours. There aren't far more obvious problems with other teams around the league. The Bengals are right up there with teams that have a lot of questions marks, whether you want to admit it or not.

They were just laughing at the Bengals on NFL network. Take that for what you will.

Yet I mentioned that I could see Buffalo, Seattle, OR Cincy with the #1 overall pick. I don't think it's far fetched to think that the 4th worst team in football last year, could slip to the worst team this year - especially considering the fact that they lost their franchise QB & best WR. Now you're forced to start a 2nd round draft pick at QB with a very limited offseason?

That's not a recipe for a winning formula in this league, and I think they could still be in the mix to be a bad team this year. Heck the Broncos had an overall easy schedule last year and ended up drafting at #2 overall.

Second of all, here's the Bengals' schedule for this season:

1 Sep 11 CIN @ CLE Cleveland Browns Stadium
2 Sep 18 CIN @ DEN Sports Authority Field at Mile High
3 Sep 25 SF @ CIN Paul Brown Stadium
4 Oct 02 BUF @ CIN Paul Brown Stadium
5 Oct 09 CIN @ JAC EverBank Field
6 Oct 16 IND @ CIN Paul Brown Stadium
    7 Bye
8 Oct 30 CIN @ SEA CenturyLink Field
9 Nov 06 CIN @ TEN LP Field
10 Nov 13 PIT @ CIN Paul Brown Stadium
    11 Nov 20 CIN @ BAL M&T Bank Stadium
12 Nov 27 CLE @ CIN Paul Brown Stadium
13 Dec 04 CIN @ PIT Heinz Field 1:00 PM
14 Dec 11 HOU @ CIN Paul Brown Stadium
15 CIN @ STL Edward Jones Dome
16 ARI @ CIN Paul Brown Stadium
17 BAL @ CIN Paul Brown Stadium

The first six weeks has several eminently winnable games, especially if Manning's still hurt. And then we come back from the bye and play Seattle and Tennessee, both of which are going to be SAD this year. Yeah, there's the division, but outside of that, this season's schedule is pretty damn friendly.

Now take a look at Miami's schedule and tell me who's got the rougher ride in the regular season.

While I'd agree that 2011 Reggie Bush and Daniel Thomas are better than 2011 Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown, I'd point out that Thomas isn't exactly setting the world on fire and Reggie Bush has to prove he can carry the load when he couldn't in New Orleans, a team that has a superior passing game.

You've got a strong argument as long as facts don't come into play.

No doubt the Dolphins play in a tough division, but they were also 7-9 last year, and I don't see them slipping that much if at all. Cincy is in a complete rebuild, no matter what way you want to spin it. They drafted a guy in the 2nd round that they are asking to start because Palmer retired.. they could very well end up with the #1 overall pick.

Dalton might be a good QB someday, but he is going to struggle a lot early.

Of all of the rookie QBs out there, I'm glad to have Dalton more so than I would any of the rest.

Will we lose this year? Yeah, probably. I have no illusions about this season. However, if you look at our early schedule, we could have four wins before the bye. It's kind of weird how things could work out.

As for Miami? You're forgetting that Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams were the identity of that offense for years. They're both gone. Bush ain't no bell cow, and the new guy hasn't been making noise. And as for your division argument? Look who has to play the Pats and Jets twice a year, not to mention a Buffalo team that looks like it's starting to improve. I wouldn't want to be a Dolphins fan this year.

Oh me too. But I don't want to pick 1st overall and no way will we get it. I would like Landry Jones but he will go too high. I don't like Barkley and wish we drafted Mallet in the 3rd Round.

Wow how amazing that would be! Irony at it's best! Could you imagine the media circus! They would be hyping Andrew Luck up as John Elway 2.0!

All those years of having to carry the Colts finally catchin up with Peyton and his neck. If he can't go this year I really could see them in the "suck for Luck" race but I don't see Peyton missing any games this year.

Reggie Bush has never been asked to carry the entire load before and in Miami, he will be. I see him and the Dolphins struggling.

Preseason play doesn't mean anything. I remember a Broncos running back fumbling three times in a single game in the preseason. He ended up running for over 1500 yards his rookie season. I'd love it if the Browns did something. But, the facts are that the Browns are coming off a 5-11 season where they fired their head coach, have a new defense, and a new offense. Further, they no longer have an offensive coordinator (the head coach is performing both duties). Rookie head coach, new defensive scheme, new offensive scheme. That means that the team will struggle. Possibly not even matching last years 5 wins.
