  • Charlie Batch Rips Goodell

I think he hit the nail on the head. I agree 100% I think Goodell is extremely power hungry.

i personally like goodell i think he has a lot of things going for the players even though they might like it now, but they might look back when they can actually remember the names of their grandchildren and thank him

as for pryor i think the NFL as a whole didnt want to set a new precedent for players who get suspended in college and then go to the NFL just to get out of it, its a touchy subject but i think the NFL made the right choice

goodell didnt make this decision by himself or even with 2 other people

I don't think that players should be suspended if they are not found guilty of a crime....

he wasnt suspended due to personal conduct policies

the NFL did not want to set a precedent that suspended players in NCAA can just go to the NFL without any repurcussions

i say he should be damn happy they even let him in the NFL this season because they certainly didnt have too and now he has enough money to get as many tats as he wants

          I agree.

For the most part Roger is only a figure head of the league. He was put in position by 32 other people. Those same 32 people tell him rules that they want enforced.

He is like the emperor in ancient Japan. He does all the talking, but the men behind the curtain, is who really makes the rules and have the power.

I think its good. It will make players think twice before acting knowing they will also be jeopardizing there NFL future.

I'm talking about the comment Batch made regarding Ben being suspended despite never being guilty, Yet nothing has happened with Aqib Talib and Kenny Britt.

i love goodell, but why suspend players for stuff they did in college?

i mean, are they really going to suspend vince wilfork retroactively too? seems kinda stupid

then again, goodell is the figurehead who catches all the blame, when the nfl rules and competition committe makes these decisions, goodell is also the catchall for the fine hate, even when he's not the one who makes the decision to pursue a fine investigation

fans blame goodell for all kinds of things, like even the new kickoff rule haha, but that's his job, to take all the heat

he's like batman ......they will chase you! you have to keep running roger

                  Exactly.

Blaming him is like blaming the Queen of England for the riots. She is just a figure head, no power.

During the lockout, it was funny watching and reading fans trash Roger.

IMO I like the Pryor suspension. Pryor tried to form a loophole for avoiding trouble.

He thought if he opts to join the NFL, he wouldn't have to deal with the OSU bs.

The NFL doesn't want college players thinking, if you do bad, just jump ship to the NFL to escape and be rewarded.

the great thing about goodell is, he takes all these personal attacks in stride

i mean sure he's a lawyer, and we all hate lawyers, but he's cool as hell lol
