Yeah, he was as strict as any coach you would ever meet. I was probably in his biggest dog house too.

Our senior year he had 2 seniors over to his house for dinner at a time. Me and my friend Rich went over. It was awesome. His wife's name is Polly and they had just had a kid Molloy. Molloy tried to walk on at UGA, which Van Gorder was DC from 2001-04. He won several awards, including Assistant coach of the year in 02.

Anyway, we were pretty close. I just saw him 2 months ago. A coach of ours from back then died and he was at the funeral.

Lol nice. No offense to Falcon fans, but based on my opinion your team are frauds. They're not elite, and they won't be serious competitors for a Superbowl in my opinion for at least a couple more years.

Why? They are not ready. They remind me of the 2004 Chargers who were 12-4, had some nice weapons (Brees, Gates, LT, etc) kinda like (Ryan, White, Gonzo, Turner, etc) and received too much hype from the NFL then went 9-7 the following year and struggled mightily. This always happens when a team rises up, the following season is always difficult, matching high expectations for a young team is hard. Look at the Chiefs for example.
