    Wear a ribbon? sure

But gloves, shoes etc it's too much and it's UGLY.

Why would I want to think about people dying of cancer when I'm about to watch grown men try and kill each other.

Too much a change in what the NFL is. One week is fine - one month is too much.

There are plenty of ways for the NFL to make me aware of it, stay off the Uni's plz
It never ends until every NFL game is two knitting circles with pink pillows fighting it out on a giant pink field while estrogen is pumped through the AC system to take away your manhood.

    Is this thread serious?

Well, it's nearly a partnership now

      NFL and Breast Cancer Awareness.
The beatings will continue until morale improves....

While pink is one of my least favourite colours, I think it's a great thing the league does, and for a great cause:thumb:

Like people have said previously, I've had a member of my family survive breast cancer, and raising awareness is really the least we can do.

I don't have a problem with it at all. My Grandma is a breast cancer survivor and it makes me proud to see them out there wearing it to help a cause. That being said I don't know if I like it being breast cancer for the whole month. Why not help many different causes.

Pink for Breast cancer the first week

Light blue for prostate cancer the second week

Gold for childhood cancer the third week

and maybe Lavender the fourth week which stands for all cancers

I just think that although Breast cancer is the most common that doesn't mean there aren't many people suffering from many different types that could benefit with help/donations from the NFL.

All in all I like that they are doing it no matter what! I just know how powerful the NFL is and how many more people it could help with events like this!

It's horrible. It ruins the uniforms which are big part of the game. If you want to support cancer awareness, use banners at the stadium, patches on the jerseys. Want to raise money from players' gear? Sell their regular gear with the team colors. I don't want to buy pink gloves or pink cleats. Cancer awareness = good. Pink gear = just stupid.

Yup agree completly with this and they should make it more of a cancer awareness month and support a different one each week like Cali said. And I like when they do other things like when they support the millitary or what they did for 9/11 that is one thing I do like that the NFL does.

It should be really bright red like Lance Armstrong's EPO-doped blood.

hahahhahahahahahaha I feel like a jerk now but that was a good laugh.

I dont mind the cleats and gloves being pink for breast cancer awareness. Its actually one of the last things I focus on while watching the game to be honest.

I think its a nice gesture. But the money spent on buying pick everything could have been donated, and then just kept the pink ribbon on the field to raise awareness. That seems like a much better way to spend all that money.
