Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

it wouldn't have been the same. i am not saying you wouldn't have won but you saying you would have more wins "without a doubt" is not very realistic and has absolutely not Truth to it.
thats like me saying the chargers would be undefeated and have a far better offense if we had gates or if we were not so banged up.
Umm ya they probably would be much better with a healthy Gates ...n I think Orton has easily lost us every single game outside of the GB game so ya I think without a doubt we would've at least won one more game without that gatbage bum who always sucks
oh i forgot tebow actually has proven he can win games and be successful at this level without actually going out and doing it, my bad.

sorry but the only thing obvious is the pedestal tebow is put on in Denver without proving he can actually play and win at this level.
don't worry though, you will actually get the chance to see if tebow can indeed beat they teams you say he would have beat if he played in the games or started them.

So Kyle Orton starting QB was not a mistake by the Broncos? Wth why am I asking you, ofcourse you'd love Orton to start you're an SD fan...what's clear is Orton constantly went 3 and out and sucks terribly ...plain and simple

Well I somewhat agree but the guy just finds a way to get it done ...I'm not the biggest Tebow fan which I think you're misinterpreting...I just hate Kyle Orton (as a player) with a passion and he should not have played another down this season after his garabge the last 2 years

well at least you will get to see if tebow can do it or not. i think either way it will help take the distractions away from the fans always booing your QB for every little mistake he makes (or the rest of the team for that matter).

To be honest man I love that they booed like that ...it shows how much they care....unlike Miami fans who just stop showing up and there's no benefit to Orton starting we need to see if Tebow can cut it or not
It works out well either way ...if Tebow shows he can hang, we can draft a playmaker elsewhere in the 1st...if he sucks n we tank ...we got a good shot at a franchise qb with a top 5 pick ...it's a win-win with Tebow ...a lose lose with Orton who is a loser
Grossman sucks all game ...Shanny wastes no time to give the Skins fans what they want and that's Beck ...no stupid stubborn garbage...made the switch while they still had a chance
Had Tebow started earlier this season without a doubt we'd have a better record ...most likely at least would have beaten SD and imo the Raiders ...it's in the past and the future is now but just givin props to Shanny to make the right call QUICKLY before it's too late like our season may be/most likely Is

Shanahan is the best coach the Broncos ever had for two reasons imo
1. He will do ANYTHING to maximize the ability of his team to win. You would never hear Shanahan saying his team is not good enough to play Hillis in short yardage or Tebow inside the 10. Shanahan will use every single player, play or coach who will help him win...he does not care who is making what, who was drafted at what round (or not drafted) or if it is his player or another coaches player.
2. When he makes a mistake he owns it, corrects its and moves on...RIGHT NOW. People bash him for drafting Clarett (sp?) but I like the way Shanahan moved on asap once he realized it was bad.
He definately was lacking in his vision for the defense but those two things above made him deadly as a coach.
So many coaches now a days get stuck with their players or their way of doing things. They end up with a great player but waste his skills for many reasons.
