Unless it's Tebow. Every time he makes a bad throw everybody's like "OMG he can't play in this league."

      What i thought:

He has great presence in the pocket, he knows when he should get rid of it or extend the play or buy time.

He has shakey accuracy, but his wr's aren't doing him any favors either. Both need to improve obviously.

He doesn't really put too much speed on it... which could be bad in the future.

      Throwing motion is fine

      runs pretty fast..

only thing i haven't seen is his toughness.. can he take a sack?

      not bad though.

Dalton was my favorite but Ponder was right there. Ponder is smart and I think he has the tools to get it done.

Ponder did look good. Throwing and mobility both. Vikings would be smart to let Ponder play the rest of the season.

I never really saw much of Ponder in college... I was surprised on how athletic he was. I pegged him as a pure poccket passer...anyway he showed some good and bad like most young QB's. Throws a pretty ball...I'm guessing this might cause a QB controversy in Minnesota?

BTW I put the "?" In there only because the Vikings are built to win now, they might have to reload in other areas if they let a rookie take over.

              Thx,
              Joe

I agree. Ponder and Dalton were the best. I think both will make great long-term QB's.

Even though the "experts" didn't give Dalton any attention. Sound familiar? lol

@JasonLaCanfora Vikings are changing QBs. Leslie Frazier has notified those involved. Christian Ponder takes over as starter

Looks like he won the job
