In seven games 1,091 total yards from scrimmage, the most in the NFL after seven since 2004. Is he the best total back in the NFL?

I would agree. Forte's style is the best and he's running behind an O-Line that isn't that great.. Put Forte in Houston's ZBS and Forte > Foster IMO.sigpic

I went to the game yesterday and he is such a HUGE part of the offense. I knew this anyway but seeing it in person was good.
The Bears were running Forte down the Bucs throat and then flipping screen passes to him.
He killed them in the first half. In the second half the Bucs moved the safeties to the LOS alot and the Bears had receivers running WIDE OPEN across the middle.
On a side note I lost count of the picks. I think the Bucs had FOUR and the Bears had two ? Both side could easily of had another couple each but for bad drops by the D.
The Bears were the better team but did not seem good enough to put TB away, Tampa didn't look like they turned up until the 4th quarter !Comment

The best total back this season IMO is between Forte and Ray Rice, honourable mention to LeSean McCoyComment

If we're talking about someone being, simply, the "best" RB in the league then Forte is not it. But if we're talking about guys who've been the most effective this year, you've certainly got to hive him props because he's been devastating.
Pay. The. Man.
PS. His TD run last night was right infront of me
