  • Patrick Peterson

did you guys see that 99 yard punt return for a TD in overtime? WOW. And he got one last week against the ravens.
I know he's been doing good as a returner.

But anyone know how he's doing as a CB?
I really liked him in the draft

He's been getting burnt early and often as a CB from everything I've heard/read. It takes a while to adjust to that position in the NFL though, so he deserves some time.

He's played like crap for most of the year. If it hadn't been for him returning all of these punts for TD's, no one would even be talking about him. Although, I'm inclined to give him more than just 8 games. I think he'll improve by the season's end.

Even Champ went thru a little initiation in his first year, Peterson can be better than Revis he will be a stud! And he had a nice pick 1v1 against Brandon Lloyd in the game too

Very high drafted special team stud who has been crap as a defensive back.

I haven't seen him play. But I felt like he was the second coming of champ Bailey and could do wonders on this team with him. Interesting to see how his career pans out.

This is not ttue ...he hasn't been great or shutdown by any means but he's without a doubt their best cb right now and has had some really nice plays ....relax he's adjusting to NFL caliber WR's

Yeh he is adjusting but that doesn't mean right now he is not crap as a corner because right now he is playing pretty crap as a corner. And who cares if he is the best on their team. That means nothing. It is like the Oh My God Casey Matthews is going to start at MIKE for the dream team Eagles and you were wrong John. He had to beat out a 7th round draft pick and a free agent rookie. Then got benched anyway. Yeah I was wrong.

No but on PP he is crap right now. No where near as good as Von Miller is at their positions.

Joe Hayden came in and tore it up his rookie year. That is unusual for rookie corners. I believe Peterson will be a top 10 corner in 3 years. It is my opinion, but he has everthing you could want from a corner, and is deadly as a returner. To be honest he is playing like crap as a corner so far, but making up for it with his returns.

probably the most overrated player I have ever seen pimped by fans ever!!!!

He can still be a great player, and like I said around draft time, could be an elite saftey, but as of now he is doing just ok.

Prince Amukamara will be the better pure CB by far. ( of course PP is playing ok, and prince is IRd, so this will remain to be seen for a while)
                      So far:
                      FA- Melvin Gordon. Brandon Scherff
                      1. Kenneth Murray LB; 2. Shenault WR; 2B. Biadazz Center, 3. OT

3 return TDs thus far, the kid has the athleticism.

Only a matter of time until he's at the top.

The first 7 picks from this last draft are all making an extremely big impact.

Especially the top 4. All looking like potential superstars

I've only seen the last 2-3 Cards games but he has played really well as a CB. Every time I have seen the ball thrown towards his side he has been there making a play.

I don't think he started the season as the coaches didn't think he was ready.

The problem I see is on the other side. Jefferson gets beat like a drum, which is why I have them going back to the CB well in round one and getting 2 shutdowns

Yeah, not many top 10 busts so far, although its obviously early you can sometimes see a potential bust.

Cam is the one who really surprised me, I thought he would struggle but he has looked really good. I thought Bradford was very overrated last year and Cam has way outperformed him.
