  • Texans should go after Jake Plummer

With Shaub and Leinert down If I were the Texans I would be giving the snake a call. He know the west coast offense and stays in shape with his handball.

How old is Plummer now 35?

No. I don't think that would work.

And why do you have a picture of Sissel Kyrkjebø in your signature?

The guy hasn't played since '06... Maybe if they had a full offseason to get him back in game shape...

Even if Plummer were in football shape, Kubiak has seen firsthand how much he chokes in the playoffs.
Hoping for a defensive-minded head coach and a return to the ZBS on offense. At the very least, no more cheaters for head coach.

His rights would still be owned by Tampa Bay, so unless they released him, they can't trade him since it's past the trade deadline, so he'd basically be stuck. This thread is just

I doubt he would give up his prolific handball career... or whatever it is jake the snake is up to these days

It'd make sense, but I doubt that he'd come back. Just picture it: HOU vs. DEN in the AFC Championship. Kubiak vs. his old team, Plummer vs. Tebow, Running game vs. Running game, D vs. D. It'd be a hell of a lot of fun to watch

McNabb was released by the vikings, maybe the Texans grab him or DA Bears.
