Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

For those saying McD is not allowed to start work for the Pats til season end...
McDaniels likely will succeed O'Brien as the Patriots' offensive coordinator next season, but he was to begin working immediately for the Patriots during the playoffs, the source said.
McDaniels is going from worst to first overnight, leaving the Rams and being a part of the Patriots team preparing for next weekend's divisional playoff game.
The Kraft family and the Pats organization in general have a history of drafting well and retaining their strong players. This has led to multiple Championships. If the Kraft family thinks Tebow is good enough for their organization then it might be time we take the hint, and hang on to Tebow, and develop him. We have let enough players walk who end up being great for other teams! JMO
Yup but you have to understand people on these boards live week to week and he judgement is different every week depending if we win or Lose mixed in with some hate. Common sense isn't very common anymore or else your post makes perfect sense but some people will still argue it lol
In fairness to McD, Belichick sees a lot in him. He knows his strengths, and restricts his weaknesses.
Belichick did everything he could last year to completely ditch the entire McD model they were running. The offense Belichick went to and are still running isn't McD's. I think that is why he is being hired as an offensive assistant not OC.
It is also important to remember that Brady and McD had a less than cordial relationship. Brady, at this point in his career, may want nothing to do with McD and wouldn't have an issue voicing that. Were that to happen, I am positive the Pats would listen.
McD will coach for Pats according to a report, starting this week as an Offensive Assistant. Any chance the Pats trade for Tebow in the offseason? They have a bounty of picks in several rounds that they seldom use, and Tebow could be developed as a Patriot with the right pieces to excel. Brady has a few years left, but is no spring chicken. The Kraft family were very interested in drafting Tebow in the first place. Something to think about.

They granted him his release from his contract, and apparently there is no rule stating he can't join the Pats ASAP, so he is. Word is Fisher is a lock as coach and would have let McD go if hired.
I haven't seen where he was released.
St Louis isn't very smart. When NE called to interview it should have been apparent they have a commodity with value. Force Belichick to pay. That is what he does to the rest of the league. If he doesn't pay. Retain McD, even with the Fisher hiring, through the end of the season.
Whatever. I really couldn't care less. McDaniels is and has been a joke. Going back to NE will do him NO favors.
He hasnt been released by the Rams. The Rams fired everybody but 'the disaster.'
If St. Louis were smart, they would pull a Belichick on Belichick, tell them if they want him they need to send a draft pick. Also as far as I know, McD wouldn't be allowed to join the Pats this season even if he were released.
Finally, anybody who thinks Belichcik wants anything to do with Tebow is OUT OF THEIR MIND! McDaniels wanted NOTHING to do with the kid at the end of his tenure here. He wouldn't even play him KNOWING IT COULD SAVE HIS JOB!

WAIT! Let's get through the playoffs before we start taking trading. We need to focus on getting the Steelers out of the way. We don't need this kind of distraction.
Thank all things that are good you guys have no say in our football operations lol.
And you do? LOL!
Let Belicheck take the gamble..TEbow needs to learn behind a QB that can throw, and he can do that in NE. If Tebow's passing skills fail to materialize, his superfans can blame McDaniels, Tom Brady, and Bill Belicheck. McDaniels going back to the Patriots could be yet another great piece of news for the Broncos (and many of their fans) this year.
