How many games will Eddie Royal start and finish for SD

Will Eddie Royal finally stay healthy for a whole season? If so for how many games will he be available this year for SD?

I just don't think he's durable enough to make all the way through - especially if he's being targeted much. I still respect Royal but hope SD gets burned just the same

This is the most random poll but I'd imagine he starts 13-14 games, maybe missing a couple if he doesn't play the whole year

He couldn't stay healthy for us and it was very frustrating to me. I hope he doesn't get stout all of the sudden now that he's part of a rival franchise. I don't hope he gets injured - I just hope he doesn't work out well over there


EDIT:

It should be interesting to revisit this at the end of the regular season. I think he will have issues with durability - there's no reason to think he won't

Eddie's never been one to stay healthy all the time, and I imagine he'll have to fight for a starting spot, so I think it'll be around 11-12.

I always thought Royal was used wrong. He will never be a great player but can be useful.

IMO he should be a slot and return man.

He can't play outside IMO, he had a good rookie season but since then he gets outmuscled too easy and is not fast enough to be a deep threat.

Let him work in the slot and return kicks.

In regards to slot receivers I think thats Deckers best position as well.

Royal will start all 16 regular season games, and one playoff where the Chargers go one and done.

Looks like he played in 10 games which is around what I figured it would be. I thought he'd have been waaaaaaay more productive than he actually was though. Maybe Mike McCoy can get more out of him.
