Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

The possibility to use Tebow at running back could be a reason why the Jets brought in quarterback Kevin O'Connell Tuesday for a visit and physical. They could be thinking of using Tebow in more of a non-quarterback role, and might look to add O'Connell as a traditional quarterback.
Kevin O'Connell is a running QB. Maybe the Jets will go Single Wing with Tebow at FB and O'Connell at TB? Unbalanced line with a speedy Wingback and a bruising Blocking Back and there you go.

He's probably the best runner they have right now and they need to commit to the running game if they're going to have a shot at a winning record this year..

Sanchez is two loses away from losing his starting job. What happens if Tebow gets beat up at the RB position and Sanchez continues to play like garbage? It's a double-edged sword, I guess. Tebow can be very effective in the run game, but you may want to keep him at 100% in the meantime.
I'm not seeing the logic here, but this IS the same team who uses DB's as receivers, so nothing surprises me at this point.

Well, he hasn't played that much thus far in his career, and he is 245 pounds. I think he'd probably hold up with 15 carries a game. Right now Ryan is probably thinking about job security.

He's a great runner as we all know, and I know Shonn Greene is no Terrell Davis, but the guy just rushed for 161 yards and 3 TDs, coming out and saying they might play Tebow at HB this week isn't gonna exactly fill the guy with confidence...
