  • Brady Quinn Officially "The Man" In Kansas City

    Romeo Crennel:

"I want him [Brady Quinn] to be the starting QB without looking over his shoulder. There's going to be no quick hook."
    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...it-for-chiefs/

Folks, this is why Romeo Crennel failed his first head-coaching stint. I hope KC keeps Crennel long-term

    Enjoy KC Chiefs!

Is it really that bold of a prediction?

Orton isn't starting barring injury to Romo.

        Same with Sanchez/Tebow.

It looks like the Chiefs are about to do a whole lot of "Quinning," which isn't exactly the same as winning. In fact, it's the opposite.

He's been waiting for this opportunity for a very long time. His career was wasted in Cleveland and Denver. I don't know if he will find a better situation in the future. This might be his last shot. Quinn already knew Brian Daboll's system from their time together in Cleveland, so he should not feel lost on the field. I wish him the best, though his career is pretty much ruined at this point.

                          I'm pretty sure he's injured.

Brady Quinn left the Chiefs' Week 8 game against the Raiders with a second-quarter "head" injury.
Matt Cassel, ironically, came onto the field to cheers. Highly inaccurate, Quinn overthrew a wide-open Dwayne Bowe on Kansas City's first drive and paid for another overthrow on the third possession when his high-sailing pass was easily picked off by Raiders S Matt Giordano. Quinn completed two of only four passes for eight yards and an interception. He did rush twice for 18 yards.
