Steelers set to sign Plaxico, Brian Hoyer

With Charlie Batch scheduled to start because of injuries to Ben Roethlisberger and Byron Leftwich, the Steelers are apparently going to sign Plaxico Burress to go with him.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter said the Steelers were expected to sign Burress after watching him work out earlier today.

Per multiple reports, they’re also signing quarterback Brian Hoyer, to give them another healthy arm on the roster.

Mike Wallace could be on his way out.At least they have a player in motion just in case Wallace leaves for free agency.Also,with Big Ben out,you have to score more than 10 points to win a game.

What good is a wide receiver if you have nobody to get him the ball... this signing is confusing to me regardless, I hope it works out, and they beat Baltimore next week.
