I will say this.. I drafted Russell Wilson in just about every single mock draft that I put out there this past year. It makes me sick the Broncos didn't take him in the 2nd. I mean, Osweiler could be special too and of course Wilson would never start in front of Manning but I knew there was something special about Wilson and I wanted him bad. Makes me sick.. but I will also say this, some people on this board completely disagreed with me and said he would never ever be a quality QB in the NFL and now as a rookie he has performed incredible. Next time someone has an hunch about a player, don't be so harsh with the criticisms if you disagree cause stuff like Russell Wilson can happen. Just saying..

Russell Wilson is where he needs to be because he is ready to play in the NFL. Brock Osweiler is where he needs to be because he isn't.

I was wrong about Wilson so far
Not to say he has already established himself, because lots of guys have good years then fade once teams study the film(Vince Young, Cam Newton, Michael Vick, etc....)

But he looks like a gamer
Until we see Brock play though I am not going to get into the "we should taken player X"
I liked him a lot as a prospect, and I havent seen anything yet to suggest he wont be good

The big difference between Russell and those other guys is he is a high character guy with a great work ethic. Maybe he will pan out next year, maybe he wont. But it wont be for lack of committment.
