I disagree with the going against Denver part. I wil agree that I doubt Kyle goes to the eagles, but that has as much to do with the qb and city situation as it does with playing his dad. No qb and instant intense pressure in the Phylly market. I think Kyle would leave for the right situation and I could see that happening in San Diego. He would have a good qb already in place and if they clean out the GM spot he thinks he can work with the next guy to develope what he wants from a team I could see him their. If he wants a head coaching spot then he should take it when its the right situation. I seriously doubt he doesn't take it just cause he likes Denver. Unless Denver is in the running for hiring him, he and Mike need to put themselves in the best situations to succeed. I could totally see him going to the chargers.

Kyle will ABSOULTELY not leave Washington. Why the hech would he? Kyle is an offensive genius, and he has what one could argue the most physically gifted quarterback in the NFL. Griffin has track speed, with pinpoint accuracy, and the decision making skills of a 10 year vet. Kyle is like a kid in a candy store with Griffin.

Griffin leads all QBs in rushing, 6th in the NFL in completion percentage, 1st in the NFL in yards per pass, 2nd highest QB rating, and a 20:5 TD/INT ratio.

Kyle will stay in Washington with his father, and then take over the team as head coach when Mike hangs it up in 3-5 years.

I highly doubt Kyle Shanahan goes anywhere next season. As for Chicago, after Lovie is fired I can see Tice moving up to HC, and Bates to OC. Cutler said he hopeful that no matter what happens to Lovie that Tice and Bates remain. With Tice as HC and Bates as OC Jay would then stay in the same offense for a second year in a row.

They would need to keep poopy pants happy by keeping Jeremy Bates. Making him OC. Shanahan being the HC there. That would be interesting.

    Perhaps the Jets? Eagles? Chargers?

I think if the Redskins win the division, his name will be up there.

Now, if he can explain why he has Chris SImms's initials tattooed on his ankle, that would be great. Wait, I don't want to know.
One thing is for sure. Great QB's make many people lots of money. They get lots of people promotions. They get lots of people rings and titles. RG3 is the best QB out this years EPIC QB draft. I wouldn't be surprised if he does get a promotion.

Oh heck no. Cowher would be a disaster. Not welcome - at all. If it was 1991 then he would be welcome. But not after he has coached the Steelers - no way, Jose.

Not for nothing, but I think the Browns made a big mistake with Wheeden. Trent Richardson was a great pick though and that stretch run offense would be really good if Shanahan was there imo.

    Wow!
Really, that's what you're basing this on? Cutler clearly didn't trust McDaniels. He wanted someone he trusted in the room. Would you walk into a meeting with a room full of people you didn't trust and not expect them to mis-represent you? I certainly would not.

The deal he signed with Chicago didn't really break the bank. He also wasn't keen on signing it then. Chicago wanted to do the deal. He's also saying now that he does not want the distraction of a contract negotiation in the middle of a season and has also said he will take less than his market value to help the team. How do you explain that?

I would take Peyton Manning every single day over Cutler (or any other QB in the league for that matter). Cutler's also playing for a team he rooted for growing up, in a city that values him. So it turned out well for him and for me and other Broncos fans. The only one it didn't turn out so well for was McDaniels, which is perfect since he was the root cause of the entire mess.

I was also in favor of us drafting Ngata and thought that's who were trading up for. I wasn't happy when we drafted Cutler but when he upgraded the offense as a rookie and had Champ and the other veterans raving about his work ethic, I saw why Shanahan did what he did. I thought Plummer was fine too, but being the laziest player means that all the work Shanahan and Kubiak did to make him marginally efficient (passer rating only measures efficiency, not effectiveness) would soon be undone, as we saw in 2006.

You have been proven wrong about Cutler. Shanahan has been proven right. He said that in time, Chicago would be proud of Cutler. Cutler, after the pathetic media and player reaction following the 2010 NFC Championship Game, has finally been accepted as a tough, competitive guy. He may not be a great player, but he's honest, tough and a leader. Chicago likes his personality more than they like his play.

Bowlen is going senile. I'm not saying this based on him not "paying top dollar" to Cutler (something Cutler never asked for; if anything Cutler has already said he'll take less money in his next contract to help Chicago sign more players). It is his own admission that he doesn't remember conversations (like the one he had with Cutler) or many of the Broncos seasons.

Hey, this just in. Jay Cutler sucks.

I have been proven wrong about Cutler?!

Go ahead and cling to that crap. It is just unbelievable. So, Mcdaniels was late to the dance, and you believe that Mcdaniels offered the 12th pick in the draft to Belchick and Belichick didnt do it cause he is friends with Pioli?

    OMG!

    I mean......Ohhhhhhh Myyyyyyy Gawwwwwwd!

You didnt even know how it all went down. You don't respond to Peter King reporting how the cry baby wanted out when Jeremy Bates left.

His house went up for sale when that happened, and when someone asked him if he didnt want out, then why was his house up for sale. He said it was a coincidence.

How many of you Broncos fans still wish that guy was the QB for this team?

He sucks. He sucked here, and he sucks there.

What has been proven, beyond the shadow of all doubt, other than the fact that he sucks, is he is the petulant, childish, self entitled player that some of us said he was.

    Wow.

    I have been proven wrong?

Anyway, you think we learned about Mcdaniels? You going to address your belief that Belichick turned down the 12th for the 34th pick from the Chiefs? That is what you believe? Thank God Cutler isn't here, and over there. You still clinging to the belief that he is some elite QB?

You still think this team did the right to trade up to get him, instead of maybe drafting Ngata?

That was when this franchise took a nose dive. Plummer was just fine. He was a top 10 rated passer in the league here. He was also a pro bowler (since so many Cutler fans love to point out how he made the pro bowl as the 16th rated passer over the #1 rated passer and #2 rated passer in 2008).

You do not think we have learned what only a few of us said about Cutler at the time? That he is a whiny, self entitled, petulant, pouty person?

You think he was this innocent little lamb?

    Wow.

Mean while you insist Bowlen is totally unable to think right now. That is great. Yeah, he should have paid top dollar for a QB that is not and has never been an elite QB. This is his 7th season. He is a joke.

Kyle Shanahan may want to get involved with Cutler, but he is certainly not a franchise QB. Not even close.

The problem with McDaniels isn't just that he has failed everywhere except for when he had Brady. Yup, he failed with Cassel too. They may have gone 11-5, but did that with a loaded roster (that won 5 more games the season before) with one of the easiest schedules in the league. The bigger problem with McDaniels is his dishonesty and lack of ethics. This is why most sensible people now believe Cutler's version of events rather than the liar's.

PS: Bowlen still thinks it's 1998 and is glad that we drafted Peyton Manning to take over for John, who has been talking of retiring next year. I wouldn't use him as the grounds for your argument.

I know, that is horrible and it is turning out that his draft picks were not half as bad as everyone insisted.

I am still waiting for one Bronco fan that insisted he "shopped Cutler around for Cassel" to explain to me why Belichick would turn down the 12th pick of the draft and took the 34th pick instead.

That makes sense to you? No, that is not how it went down. He listened to offers and turned them down. Bus Cook took advantage of the two rookies, and he tried to bully the Broncos and Bowlen into getting him either a new contract, or traded AND a new contract. You still also need to explain why Peter King reported before any rumor that Cutler wanted out when Jeremy Bates left. Cause Peter King did report that.

Fact is when that happened, the Bronco fan base was divided. All a part of the MO of Bus Cook (and most craft player agents) to gain negotiating leverage by creating public pressure.

Instead, the decision was Bowlen's who was not going to be bullied that way, and he was the one that decided he will be traded. Poopy pants whined his, self entitled butt out of here, and it is clearly turning out that was the best decision.

You are crazy if you think this offense would be what it is if cry baby remained. Crazy. He is not worth a 5th round pick, let alone 2 firsts, a 3rd and Orton. Bears are still suffering now with out those first rounders. Could have drafted a decent Olineman.

No. Mcdaniels actually knows football and that is clear. What is also clear is he was never really going to have a true chance here.

Having said that, yeah Kyle Shanahan is probably being groomed to take for Mike Shanahan, but if the opportunity presents itself, you never know.
