  • Black Monday begins.

This is somewhat Bronco related with JDR/McCoy possibly being gone too depending how many HC jobs are open.

    Anyway....

    - Chiefs fire Romeo.
    - Eagles fire Andy Reid.
    - Browns fire Shurmur and Heckert.
    - Chargers fire Norv and AJ.
    - Jags and Jets fire their GM's, Rex stays, i guess Mularkey stays.
    - Lovie, Rivera, Gailey all out.

Other possible HC's gone are Munchak, Whiz.

As of now, 7 HC spots open.

I was just getting ready to say that Lovie isn't safe. I'm sorry folks, but with so many HC jobs available, i'd be surprised if JDR stays.

EDIT: NFL Network's Michael Lombardi reports the Panthers are expected to fire coach Ron Rivera on Monday.

Gailey out as the Bills coach, comes as no surprise.

If we win a super bowl, JDR is gone I think. His defense would fit well with defensive personnel in Chicago.

We could lose both our OC and DC in the same offseason...

Bears might not want to wait that long to hire someone.

How can we experience the highest of the high and the lowest of the lows in one season? Win the SuperBowl and lose JDR in the same season...smh. The ONLY way I can see JDR staying is if Fox says he's retiring when his contract is up (2 more years) and Elway informs JDR that he will be the next HC.

Lovie could be a good replacement for JDR. If he wants to be a coordinator again.

Bears ask permission to speak with Broncos OC Mike McCoy.

This is one of those that could be good or bad scenarios for both teams.
