I was a big advocate of drafting Rey Maualuga in 09

And you definitely were not alone. We can see the physical abilities on YouTube, but it's hard to see the football IQ, work ethic and passion for the game. Almost every year we hear about "the next Ray Lewis". Maualuga, McClain, Burfict, and now Manti Te'o. "The house for Maualuga!!"

To think there was a time at USC where some considered Maualuga a better prospect than teammates Brian Cushing or Clay Matthews.

The moral of the story is...if EM says we should draft _________ LB DON'T!!
