Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Traded to 49ers for a 6th round pick... 9 ers got a steal.!

BREAKING: Anquan Boldin traded to @49ers for sixth-round pick via @ravensinsider
Don't know if it will be a steal. Boldin is not coming off a great year and turns 33 next season. Also the 9ers still lack the burner to take full advantage of Kapernick's big arm.
Yeah i know that, however he should have got paid by ravens , but they gave it all to flacco. I feel bad for boldin tbh
Well, Boldin wasn't a FA, I believe he still has 2 yrs left on his contract, but the Ravens have Cap issues which is why they wanted Boldin to take a paycut. I think they should've kept Boldin, but it's the nature of the business. With the draft being deep at receiver, i'm pretty sure they feel like he is replacable.
But if Boldin actually plays for the 49ers, I will be shocked. He did say he wouldn't play for any other team.
Still, I think he should. I know that I would want to help another team win the Super Bowl if the team that I had just helped do so decided to dump me in order to pay their average Joe QB $20 million a year.

I think he should too, but it's his decision, not mine.

He's a perfect fit on the 49ers, he's a first down machine. He can run it like a RB so they can throw short passes to him if somebody's defense is overpowering their blocking and still have a form of a run game. Also, they can throw to him when they are trying to run out the clock if they have 2 bad runs on 1st and 2nd down. He's great in general as another weapon for in their receiving core.
They already have a great defense, good offensive line and good backs. Now, on top of that they have a QB that can run and throw as well as a good receiving core so they are a good team in all areas. That's tough to stop, this makes them the favorites to win the Superbowl in my opnion. They'll be hard to beat.
