We need 3.9 million cap space to sign all of our draft picks. So we have about 4.9 million to play with in free agency.

Our 5th and 6th guys are certainly being assessed for savings. I still think Kuper has some value to us, I just wish he could stay healthy. As for Mays, unfortunately we paid him too much at the time. He's a tough dude, but he was never in the cards (from my perspective) to be our starting MLB.

I agree about Kuper.I hope he is willing to restructure his contract and remain a Bronco.Maybe he could compete at center and be a back up guard.

But something has to give with Kuper and Mays, both players are making to much money unlike Dumervil was,we need the cap space. Also, if i was calling the shots,i would bring back Stokely and cut Andre Caldwell,he had nothing to offer last season.

Unlike Dumervil? His cap hit was 13.6m, more than both Avril and Bennett combined

Ironically, Dallas just moved up a bunch by over-paying Romo.

BTW 5th and 6th string guys don't count toward the cap because of the rule of 51.
You can still bring them in and let them compete during training camp - cut 'em then, or move 'em to the practice squad if you're over the cap.

You are right,Doom has been expensive.

Freeney, its weird how when you want something bad the price goes up,but you you don't want it the price goes down.

Packers are 6th on this list yet never make any free agent moves. With that OL I just don't understand why they don't.

Saving every penny they've got to negotiate this summer with Rodgers would be my guess...
Does kinda make you wonder, though.

Earlier today, we quoted some cap numbers, based on the NFLPA’s calculations. Since then, we’ve gotten our hands on the NFL’s calculations for each team, as of Monday.
