Strange list but obviously your entitled to your opinion.

Julian Peterson is a FA struggling to find a team, but at 34 'might' have a couple of OK years left.

Calvin Pace is a decent LB for the Jets and I guess at 32 provides veteran leadership.

JJ Watt is a good pick.

Zach Miller gives you a decent TE option, but there are better.

Matt Willis is a poor receiver we cut, although I guess he provides you with a ST player so I can understand your thinking.

I'd take AP, Von, Watt, AJ Green, and Sherman.

Winning a championship in a 5 yr window, i am picking the below 5 players and build the team around them.

            Offense
            ---------
Wes Welker ( Passing game )
Adrian Peterson ( Running game )

            Special Teams
            -----------------
            Trindon Holliday

            Defense
            ---------
            Darelle Revis
            Ed Reed

I am looking for winning in year 1.

Imagine Miller (Vonnie Football) and JJ Watt on the same team? Holy moly!!!

                Earl Thomas
                Adrian Peterson

My reasoning was that look how expendable elite LT's, WR's, and even CB's have become. Just this last year, Percy Harvin, Long, and Revis are switching teams. No one trades star running backs, DE's or safeties for the most part. Definitely not DT's.
                Vonnie Football
                JJ Watt
                Haloti Ngata
                Patrick Willis
                Adrian Peterson

Same reasoning, sadly every time I see Ngata on an elite list like this I remember seeing him go to the Ravens (belch) right after we squandered our pick on Cutler.

Guess we'll never know how he would have helped our defense with Plummer under center for another year. Stick to picking RB's Shanny... Sorry to go off topic OP

                    Von Miller

& I think I might roll the dice with Gronk

Von miller, megaton, Green, JJ Watt, Harvin

This league you can always find a RB. It's a passing league so give me 3 stud WR and to pass rush studs.

Either Von Miller or JJ Watt.

Pass rush is the only thing as important as QB.

Looks like a lot of the same guys. Not very surprising.

If it was me I would go:

                            JJ Watt
                            Geno Atkins
                            Von Miller
                            Calvin Johnson
                            Richard Sherman

Watt is a disruptive force who can play inside and outside and do everything at an exceptional level. IMO, the best player in the league regardless of position.

I'll take Atkins next because he's a force also and I favor interior over exterior pressure. A DT like him is harder to find than a DE/OLB.

I'll take Von because he's the premier outside player in the league and is a stud all around player.

Calvin cannot be defended. He can destroy defenses with a good QB and can make a bad QB better than he is.

And I'll take Sherman because he's a rare CB who is huge and can shut down big WRs and pick off passes at the same time. Tougher to find a CB like that than a stud RB or OL.

Well, I guess if I have to win a ring within 5 years then age doesn't really matter. I would go -

                              Adrian Peterson

                              Calvin Johnson

                              Larry Fitzgerald

                              Wes Welker

                              Von Miller

At least this way with an average QB and D I have playmakers and can be a dangerous team who could win shoot-outs.

Miller gives me the pass rush to try and help the back-field.

In five years Fitz and Welker will be on their way out, not sure this will win a SB after 2-3 years
