Never stop scoring. Both games got close, and unnecessarily so. The NFL is starting (for better or worse) to mimick the much more, never stop scoring, never say die college game.
NEVER stop scoring. I hope the Broncos paid attention tonight.

With that said, I'm really getting tired of watching the Bolts blow big leads and play 2 completely different halves of football.
It’s not as if the Chargers quit trying to score, they came out to start the 3rd Quarter already leading by 2 touchdowns, and marched down and got another one on our 1st drive of the 2nd half. The problem was, Houston moved the ball against us at will for the entire game, and in the end that's what killed us.
Texans just really started winning the battle at the line of scrimmage, and then we looked alot like we did last season, unable to run the ball or to protect Rivers, giving him more than a second or 2 to get rid of the ball.
I think our revamped O-line will eventually be decent, but I figured these early games would be rough as they develop chemistry and learn each others’ strengths & weaknesses.“I’m your huckleberry!”

I'm not trying to pour salt on the wound or nothin, I'm as cool a fan as you'll meet when it comes to being cool with other fans (as long as they're also cool) and their teams, but unfortunately for you, that is gna kill you guys
Unless McCoy let's Whiz run the show 110% get ready for some serious frustration because of the ultra-conservatism of McCoy...otherwise there were some real positives to take from that game (Rivers just needs more help from a better oline and WR's imo), but anyhow, just tryna warn you about McCoy manLast edited by #24 Next Champ; 09-10-2013, 12:32 AM.

Things have changed so much over the years. Back in the day, if you have a multiple score lead, you hand the ball to your bruiser RB and whittle the clock down. With the passing game becoming more and more prolific, the idea of running the clock out doesn't come into play until very late in the game.sigpicRogue Colts Fan
