  • Who are the NFL's Best Receivers?

I wanted to see what everyone's top 10 list of wide receivers is at the current moment in the season.

    Group A (1)
    Calvin Johnson

    Group B (2-5)
    Demaryius Thomas
    Brandon Marshall
    Dez Bryant
    AJ Green

    Group C (6-10)
    Victor Cruz
    Wes Welker
    Vincent Jackson
Julio Jones (would be in group B but he's injured so a little worried about that)
Larry Fitzgerald (he still doesn't have a good qb, and at least he's throwing amazing blocks when he's not getting the ball)

Group D (Guys on the outside looking in)
    Jordy Nelson
    Torrey Smith
    Anquan Boldin
Andre Johnson (he still has it, but no TDs so far is a concern
Reggie Wayne (would probably be in Group C if not for his injury)
DeSean Jackson (yes he's mainly one-dimensional but he is racking up yards and can be a game-changer)

    1's

    Calvin Johnson
    Brandon Marshall
    Wes Welker

    2's

    Dez
    Green
Fitz ( asterisk here because he is a 1 if he had a QB)
    VJax
    Julio Jones
    Cruz

    And the rest.

I would move Marshall down a category, and Jordy Nelson, Julio Jones and Fitzgerald up a category. Andre Johnson would typically be in Group A for me but of late, I'd be okay with him in Groups B or C.
Hoping for a defensive-minded head coach and a return to the ZBS on offense. At the very least, no more cheaters for head coach.

            Not based on numbers.

            1) Fitzgerald (I think Larry is the best wide out in the league and would have numbers on par or better than TO/Moss if he had at least a decent QB)
            2) Calvin Johnson
            3) Brandon Marshall
            4) Demaryius Thomas
            5) Dez Bryant
            6) Julio Jones
            7) Desean Jackson
            8) Andre Johnson
            9) AJ Green
            10) Reggie Wayne

            Based on this season performance:

            1) Calvin Johnson
            2) Wes Welker
            3) AJ Green
            4) Demaryius Thomas
            5) Jordy Nelson
            6) Randall Cobb
            7) Dez Bryant
            8) Brandon Marshall
            9) Steve Smith
            10) Julio Jones

              Group A

Calvin Johnson-at this point I'd have to have him in a class by himself. He is good after the catch, great deep threat, good at slants and as a possession receiver as well, probably the best at circus catches. He broke the record for yards last year, and this year hasn't even lost a step following a great game against the Bengals with a near record breaking day.

              Group B

              Dez
              Marshall
              Fitz
              AJ
              Julio
              DT
              Green

              Group C

              Roddy
              Nelson
              Crabtree
              Boldin
              V-Jax
              Stevie Johnson
              Cruz

This isn't a list of fantasy prospects, injury is not taken into account. Just who the top receivers are at this point, when healthy.
