Man is anybody getting feed up with all the MEDIA hype about Marshawn not talking. They should just let him be. The poor guy is so tight and wired its got to be working on him. I have seen this with Race car drivers and baseball/basketball players. They get so zoned in and nervous it exhaust them. When its SHOWTIME they fall apart, melt down and can't perform. The Seahawks should be a little bit concerned. I'm a Broncos fan. Hey it could play to our advantage.

You know, I have done a little reading about this and listened to his interviews.
It is his job to come out and talk. He signed the contract and he can put his big boy pants on and answer questions. Does he need to answer stupid questions like "are you excited to be here?" probably not.
But refusing to answer, laughing, and seeming to act like a spoiled child that is being pushed to do what he doesn't want to is not ok. -
Yeah it's a joke. Just let the guy be. It's also a joke that the media pokes fun at it as if marshawn is trying to be funny.Comment

He did talk though,he did a quick interview,before his interview with Deion,yesterday and did one today...So how his he refusing to answer questions...
I understand talking to the media is part of his job,but there are people who have a hard time with camera on in their faces and Im one of them....You can't fault him for being that way...
People like you can't criticize players like Sherman for wanting attention and then turn around and criticize a guy who doesn't want the attention...can't have it both way...it makes no sense at all...

It's not like the game has him this way. He has always been quite, and never liked doing interviews. That's just how he is, the only reason he spoke this week was because if he didn't he'd be fined for it.
I don't see a problem with him not wanting to do interviews. Stink was talking about it on Mike & Mike how Denver's OL doesn't talk to media. So during the Super Bowl week they sucked it up and talked to avoid a fine.
I think it's silly for the NFL to force players to talk. If they don't want to then they shouldn't have to. It isn't a big deal.sigpic

He has a reputation for not talking to media in any way shape or form if it can be avoided. When he has to, it is almost always short. Whether it was the "I'm super uncomfortable" or the "I don't want to be here so I'm going to act out" I guess will be something I never know.Comment

The coverage of the Super Bowl thus far has been disappointing. Everyday they come up with a stupid talking point and everyone in the media runs with it. Yesterday was a big oogling over how Dion got 6 minutes with beast mode. I hadnt watched NFLN for a few days but decided to watch All Access and it sucked. It was 80% about the Seahawks, Beastmode, and Sherman. Thats all good though. Everyone is sick of them.
Stupid stat of the day on NFLN last night. 7 times the teams in the Super Bowl have played in preseason. 6 out of 7 times the team that won in preseason won the Superbowl. Seahaks won 40-10 #dumbstatsMost hated Teams - Patriots then Raiders then ChargersComment

Can't have it both ways. Just cause one guy publicly states he doesn't like being with the media and in front of cameras, doesn't mean other guys don't feel the same way. But they are HIGHLY paid professionals! Even the guys that don't like the spotlight and the cameras don't publicly treat the situation like a joke.
He may not like but there are others that may feel the same but treat it like their job and just get it done.sigpicComment
