Again, secondary isnt the problem, doesnt matter if you cant rush the QB.
Browner has played man coverage on receivers and has done a very good job at it. He has locked down faster and better receivers than JT.

From all reports, Browner excels in man coverage but is weak at working in zone coverage. This is why he is a better fit at corner than safety and will excel across from Revis. Revis is the key to the defense because he allows for BB to open his playbook and call some blitzs.

Nothing changes from a scheme standpoint from Revis/Talib.

Talib shadowed all the 1's, as will Revis, so i dont see where you're going there.

As a Seahawks fan who watched Browner pretty extensively I will say there is the best and worst. If the Patriots play the Broncos you will see Browner on Demaryius Thomas playing press man coverage. Browner excels against big physical receivers like Anquan Boldin but is worthless against speedy receivers like TY Hilton. He is difficult to block and can bust up screen passes pretty easily as well as physically punish wide receivers.

I have no doubt that the Patriots got him to counter Thomas and he was very effective in limiting Andre Johnson. If Thomas is wise, he will try to outmaneuver, with speed and quickness and not get into a confrontational battle since Browner will try to goad him into it. I hope he gets destroyed.. I was very pissed at his selfishness and poor decision making, fortunately we had Maxwell as his backup and as an earlier poster said was gaining playing time because Maxwell is pretty close to shut down. Good news is he is in stage three and one more positive drug use will put him out of the league for the year.

Revis is on another level from Talib. Talib can have a game where he plays on Revis' level (for instance the Atlanta game) but he is not nearly as consistent and received safety help most of the time.

Revis is an upgrade and much more consistent. He never needs safety help and locks down his side of the field. There is a reason people say Revis is the best corner in the league. The only guy that even comes close is Sherman.

Talib even said that he is not in Revis' league:
"Revis is in his own category, man," Talib said. "He's the truth. All the corners in the league, we know it. Some guys might say something, (Seattle's) Richard Sherman might say something, but the only reason he's saying something is because know what Revis is. He's at his own level."

You dont understand what im saying.

Im not saying Talib > Revis, im saying from a scheme standpoint, nothing really changes that did before-hand. Thats all.

Revis is a top 2 CB, everyone knows that.

I do it does change what you can do from a scheme point, yeah Talib can shutdown a number 1 receiver but most of the time he has safety help (Julio Jones, AJ Green, etc.). He is nowhere near as consistent as Revis is. Did you see Josh Gordon flat out embarrass Talib in the Cleveland game for 7 catches for 151 yards and a TD.

                Yes, Gordon ate Talib up.

FWIW, not sure it's true but just saw it.

Revis is ahead of Talib but I'm not sure it really matters because the difference is pretty minimal.

                  Revis/Sherman - Top 2

                  Talib - Top 5

Talib is a shutdown corner who will lock up number one receivers. We saw the impact when he left the Champ. game.

The biggest impact on Denvers D will be the 4 new players.

                  Ward/Moore + Ware/Miller

2 big signings, and 2 of our best players who missed most of the season
